Anyone who isn't blind can see the way the team rallies around him. Not to mention, after all he has been through, despite his limited role in the defense, he appreciates every bit of it, and WANTS to be a Redskins. Win or lose. I think with every play GW is giving Lavar more time because he's re-proving himself. I DO have confidence in GW in the sense that he is willing to reward hard work and production. Where are all the people that start other threads insisting that Lavar needs to go because he cost too much, or he has not played up to his ability? Sure, cap space and high draft value for him, whatever, but its not worth it to lose a team leader and someone that oriented for this team (look to that interview he did a few weeks ago). But Lavar comes with a big price tag. You should run a poll like this: would you rather have Lavar or a good pass-rushing DE and a solid WR? From a salary cap standpoint, he costs that much and more. How do you know that the Pass Rusher and WR that we get from trading Arrington is going to be any good? You dont know, neither of us do. We do know that we have a playmaker on Defense already.
