Stwasm and a Couple of Redskins Legends

Greetings, all!

In the midst of all the madness and disappointment from Sunday's debacle, I did have a chance to have some good times. Yours truly met former Redskins Neal Olkewicz and Carl Kammerer. Olkewicz was a linebacker who, after his days at the University of Maryland, signed on with the Redskins as a free agent in 1979. He played in two Super Bowl-winning teams in his 10-year career, was the team's defensive MVP in 1988 and is only one of five players to have played in the Super Bowl on his birthday. Kammerer played on the defensive line for the Skins from 1963 to 1969, gaining a reputation as a pass rusher AND run-stopper.

Attached are pictures from meeting them. Check out Olke's Super Bowl ring. Whoa! Also, if you look at Kammerer's fingers, you can tell he played lineman. Enjoy!
