Leonard_from_Miami
I don't know, Denver starts one rookie opposite of Champ (darrent williams) and their nickle back is another rookie, former Maryland Terp Dominique Foxworth. Needless to say, they couldn't be happier with their play. Williams took over the starting CB position in week three and then Foxworth beat out Lenny Walls for the nickle job. And they have one of the top five defenses in the league right now. So rookie, shoomkie, if you are a player in this league you play.
fpickering
Mike Williams that skips meetings in Detroit....Mike Williams that has been so slow that he may be moved to TE. Mike Williams 19 catches 2 fumbles and Inactive for the past 2 games.... Thats the Mike Williams you wanted to draft? Oh and why don't you go back and look at where players were drafted and give us a few names of those "SOLID FIRST ROUND CORNERS" that were avalable at 25. I am not sure I agree with the poster that you responded to but lets be real here. As far as I know there have not been serious discussions about Mike Williams being moved to TE. That is what some talking heads said in the offseason but that is just garbage. He ran a 4.59 and while he is not a burner he does not have to be. He is a possession WR who is also a threat in the red zone due to his size and height advantage. We cannot hold injuries against him. It is too early to tell if Rogers or Williams would have been the right choice.
Destino
We already have a lot of those, especially on the D-Line. Also, hopefully, we won't be picking that high again for a long time.Jason By capable I mean "able to pressure the QB" which for me is basic responsibility of the a defensive line player. We have one guy that fits that mold right now, Demetric Evans. Cheap and sometimes able to generate pressure.

Best post of the day and it covers me completly for my answer to this BS about MWilliams. There are only two things that I regret about our draft. First and formost why didn't we pickup Chris Canty in the 4th when he was available and why not try to trade up (Arizona got him in the 5th just before us) to get Brown. He would have been a monster OT for us, especially at run blocking. I can't say anything about Campbell yet but in hindsight I would still have gone for Miller. As a TE he is great at blocking and catching the ball and with him in there plus Cooley we would have had some major offensive weapons.
Destino
Don't forget Griffin If you don't push the pocket a speed rusher is useless I was talking about cheap relatively unknown players guys that provide you with pretty solid play. Griffin is a very good player and make pretty good money, so he doesn't fit with what I was talking about.

I think all of our guys are solid. What you want are pass rushing speciallists, which, as you say, we don't have many (Add Chris Clemons to your list.) skinsbosoxheels
Should of traded down in the 1st and taken DE...and with the 25th...Heath Miller
LiveStrongSkins
It will be unfair to ever judge a Redskin CB with the pathedic pass rush we have. If you give me a half hour to get open I think I could burn them too.

Also Chris Clemons is a linebacker not a defensive lineman.
RIDETHEWALRUS
The problem isn't that Carlos isn't starting or wasn't worth the position that he was drafted in. The problem is that in 3 yrs we are not going to want to pay him and watch him head to another team

Wow, you are right. Funny that I don't remember them.... As for Clemons, he may be a LB, but he's used as a pass rushing speciallist. It all depends on his performance the next three years, how much he wants to be paid, if he wants to be here, and our ability to pay him. A lot of Ifs. SkinsNeverDie
Man...Rogers has got to be good, because if he isn't that means everyone we found in this draft sucks...besides Campbell. But we wont be sure of him for a while. I think Rogers has got to work on his speed a little bit. I dont think he will start this year unless we are dead and out of the playoffs. At first i thought he'd start the Raider game...but i guess i was wrong. Seems he just isn't ready yet.
