Once again, no Arrington on passing downs...

Recommended Posts

During the Great Arrington-Holdman debates of 2005, it was argued that Lavar is simply not smart enough to play within a "system" on every down. I found that a little hard to believe, but Greg Williams forgot more about defense this morning than I will ever know.

Still, the one thing Arrington has been able to do since he was a sophomore at Penn State is run really fast and hit a quarterback. After watching his play on the goal line, it is apparent that he can still run really really fast.

Is it a totally crazy notion to think that on third and long, he could still run really fast and hit a quarterback?
