Who are you rooting for?

Im rooting for Sage because he has a cool name. And anyone who is on the Redskins at any particular time is a "real Redskin" in my opinion. Once they leave the debate can begin whether they were a real Redskin. For example I hated Deion before he came to the 'Skins, I rooted for him when he washere, now that he is gone I hate him again. Its the circle of life...lol.

I never applauded for Deion, not once. I just could never root for that guy. I cheered when he had that long punt return against the Bucs at the end of the game. But that was more out of relief than praise of Deion "MOST OVERRATED CORNER IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME" Sanders.

I'm voting for Wuerffel because he seems to be the most "at ease" and accurate of all on the showcase. I also suggest that Shane be ready to come in on a dime when called upon. He probably will at some point. Either way - the duo at one and two will be prepared to play at any given time. #3 will also be somewhat prepared, I think probably more than any other #3 in the league.

Anyone who can play well gets my vote.

And, by the way, being on the roster last year isn't the only way to be a "real Redskin."

Is Trotter going to be considered a true Redskin? Armstead?

Wasn't Smoot a real Redskin last year? He wasn't on the roster the year before.

If Danny and or Shane play well they will be "real" enough for me.

Don't I long for the day when I can root for a Redskin quarterback.....

Sonny Jurgensen was the last Skin quarterback I actually rooted for. Since then I could care less as long as whoever the QB is doesn't lose the game for us.

Have we had a franchise quarterback since Jurgensen? And don't say Joey T. or I'll :puke:

My vote is for Wuerffel because:

1) I think he gives us the best chance to win (I pray that he can do it in the regular season);

2) It couldn't happen to a more decent person. This is no knock at the other guys. Wuerffel had to suck up so much abuse over the years, the vindication would be sweet, and;

3) It would give us GREAT relish to see all those "experts" dine on that blackened crow. The question would be: How many of the "experts" would admit they were wrong? If Wuerffel flops, how many will say "I told you so."

HTTR!!:cheers:
