flgator03
I watched the replay of the UF 1996 championship season on Sunshine network today. I didn't realize what a winner Danny really is. He won his high school state title, the SEC title all four years, The Heisman, The NCAA championship, and he still holds the record for highest passing efficiency for a college QB. He even won the NFL European league title. The only thing missing is the NFL title. It will come. BTW, tons of floridians are becoming skins fans. Everyone I know is scrambling for tickets to the games in Jax and Tampa. I'm up for a road trip, How hard is it to by tickets at the stadium (fedex)? bulldog
I think it is time to see Wuerffel against the #1 defenses. He has torched the backups while using our own backup wide receivers and backs. I want to see what kind of start we get off to with him at the helm. In both games so far the offense has had trouble getting off the mark on the first couple of drives. The other thing I came away with from the first two games was that I think Sage is now running #3 in the three way batte for roster spots at qb along with Ramsey and may end up being cut or traded towards the end of camp. Sage has some ability, more than we gave him credit for after being a 'projected' #4 pick last year. but he is in a bad spot with 2 Gators on the roster that know the offense and a #1 draft choice also at his position. looks like a squeeze play to me. Mad Mike
Bulldog I watched that replay as well and I have to agree with flgator03. The guy *is* a winner. I couldn't believe how acurate he was and how well SOS found ways to get his receivers open and get them the ball. Danny looked like Joe Montana. Maybe better. Play after play after play he threaded the ball into tight coverage and put it where only his reciever could catch it. Now I'm not saying he is Montana's equal by any means. He has a Loooong way to go in the NFL before he can carry Montana's jockstrap. But I have no doubt that given the proper pass protection and with SOS calling the plays we are superbowl bound. bulldog
now, that's what I call confidence and loyalty been a long time since we have had a coach around here that EARNED that kind of following
Larry Brown #43
How hard is it to by tickets at the stadium (fedex)? :rotflmao: Flgator03, You can sign up for tickets at redskins.com. Perhaps in 15 years your name will be called. Actually, you can buy tickets for single games from scalpers, brokers, etc...but it's not cheap. This is the REDSKINS we're talking about, not the Jags or Falcons.
Carlito Sway
LB#43 is right, it's pretty easy to get tickets. I have to say that I was downright depressed last year to see that I could get tickets to any game, pretty much in every section, all the way up to gameday with no trouble. Problem was that all these season ticket holders were just making money on theirs and allowing Fedex to be invaded by tons of opposing fans. It was enough to make one want to join the Dead Tree Crew. Pretty sure the place will be a sea of B&G this year. HTTR!
70Chip
You'll be able to get tickets -- the question is just how much you're willing to pay for them. Which seems like as good an excuse as any to use this: :pimp:
OrangeSkin
It pisses me off when season ticket holders keep their tickets just to sell them. There are a lot of diehard 'Skins fans still on the list, and it's quite annoying when you're keeping us waiting an extra 5-10 years until you die. I'm sure that every stadium has this problem, not just us however.
BlitzFiftySix
I just bought a pair of tickets for Sunday's game vs. Pittsburgh in the cheap seats on Ebay for $35 using "Buy It Now". Not bad.
70Chip
Preseason's a different beast -- if you're buying, don't pay face value, because they can almost always be had for cheaper. I agree that if you have the tickets, you should use them. Too bad they can't keep track of who's coming in so that if you don't personally come to at least half the games you lose your tickets. Kyle
"...keeping us waiting an extra 5-10 years until you die" Even that may not be enough. In practice, death is no bar to Redskin season ticket ownership. I know more than one "Redskin season ticket holder" who has long since past on to the great gridiron in the sky. Redskin season tickests may be hard to come by, but it seems, you can take them with you.

Awesome idea. It would definitely cut down on those a-holes who sell their tickets to Dallas or Philly fans. If a Dallas or Philly fan is found sitting in your seats you should lose your tickets permanently. No exceptions.
70Chip
Well, with the way security is going maybe we ought to have them check photo ID and make sure the ticketholder of record is in the party before entering. Sorry to keep hijacking the thread --
