goldenster95
Just about the time this post is going up, the Iggles, per Michael Irvin, will be telling TO of his fate. If McNabb's statements yesterday are any indication, he's gone. In Philly's presser last night, McNabb, though acknowledging that TO is a great talent at WR, mentioned the fact that the team would be better off without TO. Also adding fuel to the fire is that Reid and McNabb supposedly had a five minute closed door meeting last night about an unkown topic and that McNabb came out of the meeting smiling. Another TO tidbit: according to Peter King, when TO was reading off his prepared statement apologizing for his comments, it contained apologlies to both the team and McNabb. TO, however, didn't read off the McNabb part.
jrfriedm
My question is will they release him or will they make him inactive like the Bucs did to Meshawn a few years ago?
Drex
It's probably best for the Eagles to rid of Owens at this point. I find it hard to believe that at this point he could be accepted back into the team's locker room fold. I think he gets "Keshawned"
Taylor 36
None of this surprises me. What is unfortunate is that there will probably be some stupid FO and coach out there that will pick TO up, thinking that they can deal with him.
Henry
My feeling is the fact that they are holding a press conference at all means he's gone. I don't think they'd bother making an official annoucement to say that he'll be playing. Someone keep us updated.

What would be funny is to keep TO around and play fullback to block for McNabb when other teams blitzed. Poetic justice, indeed.
renegademrnate23
I agree, hes gone, now the question is, where does he go? You know some desperate team will take him, thoughts?

It's around 2:45 pm right now and the presser is in 15 minutes.
MRMADD
I'll bet they don't release him immediately -- make him wait through the 4 unpaid weeks of suspension, then release him. That gives him less time to contribute to another team.
4Ever51
I havent heard anything about this either. But, there are already teams expressing a desire to get TO, and quite frankly, who wouldnt want him? Despite the fact that I dislike the guys attitude, he is a play maker. Kansas City, Atlanta and Jacksonville have already expressed their interest.

Chachie
I guess they'll be announcing the trade to Dallas for Keyshawn Johnson.
riggins44
The Eagles have to make a quick decision on TO. Either they cut him today or try to work him back. The longer they drag this out, the greater the chance of it splitting the locker room. My gut says they pull the trigger and release him.
bulldog
Kansas City is desperate. They have an old team and Vermeil is in his last turn of the wheel at the helm. Maybe 'sensitive' Dick could get through to Owens. At least it would be fun to see him try
illone
Some team will snatch him up and make him the highest paid receiver in the history of the game. Some GM will kiss his ass enough to make him happy and he'll be the center of attention like he wants.
LiveStrongSkins
youll be looking at the newest San Diego Charger if he is released. They are a wideout away from being dominant, and since they have a hard time selling out their stadium I can really see the Chargers making a play for him. goldenster95
Hey, if they're no takers in the NFL that suit TO, he might try the NBA, like the Trailblazers. He'd fit in really well there.

Guest sith lord
I knew it. They're suspending him as long as league rules would allow, 4 weeks, then they're gonna Keshawn him.

Pardon my french but he's a complete ass and I'm happy that he's getting the Keyshawn treatment. I only hope that Danny will ship the same Plasma screen that he was going to send Lav Coles' way. TXREDSKINS44
Terrell Owens will not return to the Eagles this season. Coach Andy Reid announced at his Monday press conference that Owens has been suspended four games for conduct detrimental to the team and will not be brought back after that suspension.
