Predicting How Peter King and Don Banks Will Discount Redskins Win

A few possible examples:

The weather was too good.

McNabb was hurt (though he moved around the pocket better than in the last four weeks and was more accurate, as well.)

Questionable calls and play clock mysteries (like this doesn't happen to us in Phlly.)

With all of the turmoil this week, could one really expect more from the Eagles? (Though the Eagles players and FO said it was a non factor.)

Redskins caught Philly at a bad time (Philly knew it needed this game and had a come-together player meeting before the game.)

Redskins played above their heads (though the Redskins continue to improve and address deficiencies from past losses.)

What they will not also mention is the fact that our entire DL was playing hurt, Cooley is still hurting, and how huge was the break the Eagles got when Brunell fumbled the ball when we only had to pickup 2 yards for a first down at the 24 yardline of the Eagles just before the half.

For those that know Peter King has been given the skins credit all year, but then again it would be hard to find out for youself then

Maybe you need to do a little research, unless you think this is love:

Philadelphia (4-3) at Washington (4-3)

Was that pop we just heard Mark Brunell's bubble bursting? Or the Washington run defense deflating? Last year, the 'Skins had the best per-carry run defense (3.1 yards) in the NFL. This year, they're 25th, at 4.5. I think Gregg Williams' head is about to explode.

Philadelphia 20, Washington 13

Seattle (2-1) at Washington (2-0)

There's one touchdown in this game, and the Redskins D will score it. Which means that the magic at Texas Stadium in Week 2 does not carry over to Week 4 by the Beltway. Start warming up, Jason Campbell.

Washington 16, Seattle 3
