Fitz
The Cardinals may not be in our division anymore, but some things never change. Once again, their top pick is holding out and no resolution is in the foreseeable future. Once again, it's all because Bidwill is cheap. They're offering Wendell Bryant less money than draft picks below him, and they won't budge from their "take-it-or-leave-it" stance. It's quite probable that Bryant will not be in uniform for the opener against the Redskins, and even if he is, he probably won't be ready. All this is from John Clayton. BTW, John says the whole Mariucci threat thing is overblown. Apparently he and Hue Jackson are good friends, and when he saw him leaving the field, Mooch "said see you in six weeks" not as a threat, but as you would say "so long" to a buddy. Sounds pretty plausible, it wouldn't be the first time the media made a mountain out of a molehill.
redman
Bidwell is the worst owner in football, and has at least been vying for that "honor" for the last 15 years, ever since he took over the team. Even Cincy has at least shown an ability in the last couple of years to assemble some talent and to bring in some FA's. The most embarrassing admission by Bidwell to how inept his franchise and management are came when the division realingment was being debated. He insisted as a condition of agreeing to realignment that he continue to have one Cowboys game per year played in Arizona for several years because they always got higher attendance and more revenue than any other home game. How embarrassing is that?
mojo
Bidwell should buy a baseball team, at least he throw out some lame excuse for what a disgrace his franchise is:high:
