Higgs44
There about where I thought they would be, 4-3. Would have loved 5-2, but I feel good about them so far, even after that debacle in NY. A win this week would go a long way, I dont feel our upcoming schedule is as hard as the start has been. Especially helped with the fact that most of the tougher games are at Home. No Owens for Eagles, McNabb is injured and not mobile. Arrington is finally starting again (Holdman benched). And the game is at Home... Skins will win this week, and start the Eagle Downward Spiral. Then @ Tampa.... with no QB... You can bet the house GW makes Chris Simms try and beat him with 8 in the box. Home for Oakland... Moss is banged up, yet again, seems like every season he gets hurt now. Still dangerous, but The skins havent had many problems with the slower RBs (Jordan), and have had very good Offensive days against the Bad defenses in the NFL. Home for SD.... Gotta stop LT. Sean Taylor can defend Gates IMO and the rest of the D can take care of the WRs. SD's Defense is not that good at all. We slow down LT we win the game, especially at Home. @ STL... This game scares me a little. Rams have a ton of speed, but are very much a jekyl and hide team. Rams could very well win this one on the turf. @ Arizona... No run game. No Problem Home for Dallas.... The new streak starts here. If we go back to the week 2 matchup, you would notice S.Moss repeatedly flying by Henry, but Brunell, whether rusty or what was under throwing him.... that is until the last 2 passes. Henry is a weak link, along with Williams. Skins win another emotional game Home for Giants... Skins and G Men always split every year, I see no difference here. At home this could be for the division and Skins will be looking for some revenge!!! @ Philly... This could be a sweep against the Eagles... why you ask, well because McNabb may very well be done for the year a few weeks before, opting instead for surgery during a lost season. bbuzz1962
Great analyzing, what did you think about getting shout out by the next to the last defense in the league? Stats don't mean a damn thing anymore. Hell SanFrancisco took it to Tampa Bay, would you have been ablt to predict that with the way they were shut down by the Skins? You must get up for every game in this league because any team can beat anyone in this league so I don't put alot into injuries or previous play. We better show up like this game means the season, or we will be beat, and the year will go downhill really quick.

dpass
:eaglesuck We still have a shot at winning the division. A win sunday will really help our chances. So you are saying that you win every game from here on out? And no, if you go back and watch that Week 2 game, you guys looked like absolute **** for 58 minutes, but you pulled it out. Simms is a bit soft, yes, but Williams will be healthy. Tampa Bay is by no means a gimme. That defense will give you fits all day. Samuels is one of the lazier tackles in the game, and Simeon Rice is going to eat him up. Brunell will be under fire all day. Raiders have been looking alot better recently. I wouldn't really call Jordan slow either. Moss is a bit banged up, but that's right now. Unless his injury lingers, he will cause some problems for you. I'd like to know how you think Sean Taylor will do here. San Diego is alot better than their record states. Explain how you plan on shutting down LT, their WR's, and Gates. You can't have 8 in the box and still effectively blanket everyone. Sean Taylor is all world in coverage now? I think he was a bit overrated coming out of Miami, playing with all that talent. I don't deny that he is good, but some of you seem to think he is the second coming of Ronnie Lott. He's not even as good as Roy Williams. That was such a reach of a pick. Gates will eat him up. Rams, it all depends on which team shows up. They have the skills to hurt you, but they also make enough dumb mistakes to kill themselves. You better pray Martz is back on teh sideline, because that bumbeling idiot is probably going to disregard how well Stephen Jackson has been running as of late and throw 80% of the time. I have no problem at all with you showing your support for your team. There's not a week I go in watching a game where I don't think my team has a chance, otherwise its pointless to watch. However, you almost emberass yourself making a post like this. I remember browsing this board and seeing some members posting 13-3 as your guys finnishing record. This week in Philly we see this teams true colors. The Eagles are slipping, they are banged up, can you seize the opportunity to get back into the thick of things, or drop to 4-4, with a 1-2 divisional record? If this team drops 4/5 games, you may have gotten a bit too good a results to start the season. Lets wait and see what happens. I think Sunday Night will give us a very good idea of where this Washington team really is. Ill be watching, but I still don't know who to root for. I can never root for the Skins, but I sure do like seeing the Eagles lose

Dalecitymike
-Do you think T.O. is really hurt or just afraid to play against Sean Taylor? No games in the NFL are easy games just ask Tampa Bay. I think we can win most of our home games, and as long as we don't ever play like we did in N.Y. again we will get the wild card at least.

Mackdaddydean
While i agree that going 12-4 is VERY possible i dont even think it will take that much to grab a playoff spot. This is how it is to me...win 4 out of the last 5 home games...that gives us 8 wins....win 2 of the last 4 away games and that puts us at 10-6...which i think will be good enough for a wild card considering the mediocrity among other NFC divisons. Major Harris
love your optimism. i really don't see us beating san diego unless we improve a lot between now and then. and predicting sweeps over the gmen and eagles? we've won 1 game in the division over the each of the last couple seasons. skinsmania123
Anything can happen. This is a schizoid year for sure. However the analysis you put forward seem very plausible. 1) If TO goes out, and we stop any run game Philadelphia may throw at us, and we play like we have before the Giants this is our game. Philadelphia is banged up at two key positions. We should beat Oakland, Tampa and Arizona. The Ram's is a huge question mark for me because they can run. I do not think Dallas has been as good on Defense as they were billed when they started the season, but they have picked it up somewhat the last couple of weeks. That one is a huge question mark too for me. It will be a close game. We have to have momentum going into that game. IMO San Diego is the best club we will face in the remaining games. In fact I think we have a great chance of winning the rest of our games except this one. The ONLY reason Tampa is now losing is because they lost their QB. Chris Simms is playing horrendously. If he were not in there this would also be a real tough contest for us.
kingdaddy
12-4 is a pipe dream. The Giants should win the division with their easy schedule left. I also think the Giants have a real good shot at sweeping the Eagles. They play SF and Minn. before hosting Philly. While the Eagles play us then Dallas before going to NY. That's going to be very difficult for them. The schedule sets up best for the Giants. We've got to win like 4 of the next 6 to be sitting at 8-5 while controlling our own destiny in weeks 15,16 and 17 against Dallas, NYG and Philly. That's how I think this is going to play out. Hollywood2k3
We do have a chance, but we have to play more consistant in all 3 phases of the game. And some of these other guys are gonna have to stop talkin' and step up and make some plays (Patten, Jacobs-needs more opp. Royal, W. Harris, P. Daniels, Salavea')
blackice7x
You may be completely wrong or completely right. But not anywhere in the middle. They will either win most or there games or lose most of there games. We will see on Sunday.

dmurda
I don't think T.O. is really hurt at all. It sounds more like he just doesn't want to play. I think that if he had gotten a new contract hed definately be playing this game. That being said, we are not going 12-4. 10-6 would be amazing though.
