First of all i dont think we shouldve traded our first rounder this year but since we did, we should of drafted miller, each time i see him play he just catches everything thats near him and he runs all over people. People have said that he couldnt block but the last game i saw on monday night he did a great job.

what do u guys think??

Nope, I think you're wrong.

Many are starting to say that drafting a TE at all in the first round is a waste. It seems that position is getting flooded with talent and in the next couple years great TE's will probably be around in 2nd and 3rd rounds or even later.

Man, sit back and enjoy the fact we might be sitting on a franchise QB. Do you know how important that is in the NFL. Teams would trade 3 first rounders for that. It's always worth a shot.

We already have Cooley and Royal (and Sellers).

People are getting on Royal now because of what happened on Sunday (as if he was the only one with a bad day Sunday). But he has usually been money for us. What was it? Like half his catches last year were for TDs?

Heath is a (or soon will be) monster though...

cooley is an h back , we need a big tight end. jason could be the franchise qb, but we wont know for another 2 years even more. my point is were trading draft picks for something were not sure of. ask houston, detroit. we will never know until it happens which is down the line. my point is were drafting someone to help us down the road. when we should be drafting someone for now. we still have major holes on our team. NO defensive ends who pass rush, no depth on our o line, no tight ends, no return man, and we need a big reciever.

I dont feel like arguing this point. We just disagree

You haven't even seen Campbell play in a regular season game and you're ready to give up on him. This guy has all the tools needed to be a very good QB for a long time. He's got size, arm strength, mobility, smarts, and above all, he just wins football games. This guy is the Skins fututre, you can't ever say that about a TE.

Honestly, what you guys gave up fro Campbell is, IMO, going to amount to the dumbest trade in a while. Pure stupidity

How can you say that now, before Campbell has played a down in the NFL??? Billy, you've said some stupid, trollish things before, but this might take the cake. We gave up two mid-round picks for Campbell. If he pans out and becomes a quality starting quarterback, you don't think he's worth those two picks? I mean, would you be upset if Dallas traded a 3rd and a 4th for say Eli Manning? David Carr? Byron Leftwhich? Assuming they still had QB problems, that is.

Nope. The minute Gibbs decided to trade with Denver next years 4th and 1st pick it was for Campbell. I have also read somewhere that even Matt Jones was considered but if that is the case he was gone before the 25th pick.

The one move that pissed me off in the draft is not getting Canty with our 4th pick. He was there for the taking and mark my words will be a huge plus for the cowturds in the comming years.

you are absolutely right. but were gonna have to go through the growing pains. thats if he pans out at all. u never know. thats why im in favor of drafting a sure thing like a heath miller. but were stuck like this for awhile so what do we do with our second rounder. too many holes, gave up too much for something that MIGHT help us down the road

If you are looking for guys who can block, you usually don't get that with a 1st round pick. The guys up there are more about their pass catching ability than blocking. Usually, the straight TE position in Gibbs' offense is almost exclusively a blocking position.

In any case, it only really makes sense that you give up that much for a franchise QB. Personally, I would have kept the picks and used the third round pick on a guy, but it doesn't matter what you pay if you got the right guy.

There are a LOT of things we should have done other than draft Cambell.

He could pan out to be a great QB, but we still needlessly gave up draft picks to draft a guy to be a 3rd stringer when we clearly have other needs that should have been tended to first.

As bad as we were last year, it was inexcusable to give up a future 1st round pick for a late first round pick only to draft a QB.
