SlobberKnockinFootball
Anyone recommend a good workout routine during a lunch hour (1 1/2 hours). I'm looking at getting back into shape. I just joined a gym so I can workout during lunch and need some ideas since i'm working on a limited time frame.

airborneskins
an hour and a half for lunch.. Damn... But seriously, if you are trying to lose weight, I would do Cardio atleast 3 -5 times a week.
dks1240
i had an hour long break over the summer and a nearby gym. i usually did a 2 mile run, crunches, and stretch in about 30 minutes. i would suggest doing 30 minutes of some sort of cardio 3 days a week and then lift the other two days. Try running two of the three cardio days and biking on one of those days, that'll get you in shape
Spaceman Spiff
I do HIIT training on the rowing machine...go as hard as i can for 30 seconds, then rest for 90 seconds...do it about 5-6 times, (it's a puker) and jump rope, 100 skips 5 times. Finish it off with russian kettlebells for lifting. Takes about an hour.
Cdowwe
If youre going for strength I would do one muscle each day of the week...like chest monday, triceps tues, legs wed, back thurs, biceps friday...then youll have time left over for cardio. Would getting on Hydroxycut benefit while I'm doing this lunchtime workout? I would do 45 minutes on the eliptical (sp) then 15 on the tread mill and about 30 weights, low weight high reps
KDawg
Do you want to be in better shape Aerobically? (Cardio type of deal) Or anaerobically? (Quick, explosive movements) For getting toned, do you ONLY want to get toned? Or do you want to get stronger and bigger?

FBChick
With an hour and a half, your choices are pretty limitless, really. If weightloss is the main goal, I would look at starting with a 45 min cardio routine and 30 min weights (allowing time to change and shower). Rocky21
Since you are doing this in the middle of the work day, for consideration of co-workers, I would work out for an hour and 15 minutes and shower for 15 minutes.
