Next week will be the best defensive performance under Gregg Williams to date!

Book it. The defense the last few games in my opinion has been playing on their reputation. Running backs and receivers just arent going to roll over and play dead because Gregg Williams has a good defense. I think this week of practice will be the hardest one yet and the players will see this as gutcheck time. I think players like Arrington, Taylor, and Washington will take it very personal and come out smokin Sunday night. What better way to come out and make a statement then at home and on Sunday night against a hated rival. Sometimes it takes a game like that to regain focus for both players and coaches. We will come out smacking Philly. Be prepared for alot of crunching hits and tackles for losses.

I feel the same way and what will all the bandwagon jumpers have to say then? I can't wait to see how the Skins respond to this eye opener. 3-4 is going to really confuse the Eagles b/c the Skins don't have alot on tape to see out of this formation and LA should get alot of PT.

Well, we do have two things going for us going into next week

1. The Eagles running game is almost non-existant

2. T.O. got most of his yards(Like that 91 yard TD play in the 3rd) because Champ "Overrated" Bailey stayed in the game way too long with a hamsting injury. We got enough help in the secondary to handle him

With our injurys to the D-Line, we are in trouble. When healthy we cant pressure the QB, so dont get too fired up on our D this week.

I agree...and our Dline wasn't strong to begin with. Schemes will only take you so far...you have to have healthy, talented players to carry it out.

that would b e great...ive thought of that too. im hopin its true and i think if GW is as great of a defensive guru as we look at him as..this will happen. offense under gibbs should come out smokin too...hopefully we'll be rollin on all cylinders on sunday night. it'd be huge to rebound from that loss, and i think we can do it, i really do think this team has the heart. heres to a huge rebounding performance

The Redskins secondary is average and the poor pass rush makes it even worse.

T.O. will get a TD....LJ Smith could get one....and Westbrook might run for 2. I think the Eagles score 4 TD's against the Skins...so the Redskins will have to score at least 31 points to win this game...but if they win it won't be due to the defense.

Yeah. The Skins #1 ranked pass defense is a joke. They have the #2 best pass defense as far as opponent's completion percentage, but they will really suck now that Walt Harris and Shawn Springs are both healthy.

Those rankings are just a mirage because they only played 4 out of the top 7 offenses, and they got to play the Giants.
