Fighting for old D.C.
He's dropped at least 5 passes today. Complete lack of focus. Absolutely inexcusable.

thaBIGRED
Agreed... about the unexcusability... but... he's had a bad game. He's done good for us sundays before. Everyone played bad today. We cannot single anyone out. We lost this as a whole.
SlinginSammy HOF '63
cut? No. If so we may as well cut Moss, Betts and Cooley for laying it on the turf. Bad game. Time to have a rough week in practice and come back home focused and put this behind them.
onedrop
no one should be cut but i dont think Royal MADE a catch all day
Gibbs4Life
i told everyone hes not that good. And that we should have drafted sure handed heath miller. But everyone's like he cant block. Now hes getting beastly in pitt, catching and doing a great job blocking. Royal is defintely a weak link.
PA Skin Fan
Agreed. He should be cut. You don't have that kind of performance and deserve to play in the NFL. He set the tone from the start, with the first play on offense being a dropped pass. Then he dropped at least 4 more passes, including the TD. If Antonio Brown is cut for one bad week of football (and one fumble), why shouldn't Royal be cut for this unacceptable effort? That was not NFL quality football from him today. And it's not just about today - does anyone remember him making a great block or catch? I know he has caught a wide open TD or two in the past... dpass
I don't think we should cut him, but he has to make plays when he's out there. Exspeacially when cooley is hurting.
