hey Bubba, did you see the interviews of the giants players? manning and barber were talking about how the offense has improved (which it has). but they basically said that people were fighting for attention and that their offense had alot of weapons and depth. i dont see it...barber is the only one running the ball, i heard brandon jacobs name mentioned earlier along with "nightmare" but derrick ward has more carries than him (who the heck is derrick ward?). jacobs has 7 total carries and a 3.3 avg per carry, but also a TD so im guessing hes a goal line back? WRs...burress has more catches than all the other recievers combined...and they only use 1 TE which is shockey who has more catches than toomer.

i dont see this being a challenge for our defense...too predictable. maybe thats why manning has done so well this year against poor defenses, it looks like a pretty easy offense. throw the jump ball to burress, throw the jump ball to shockey, hand it off to tiki. what do you think?

The Giants are a lucky team. They have a lot of balls bounce their way. The last game makes the stats. look a lot better, but the stats. don't show the heart of the team. If Washington plays mistake free, wood laying, high scoring, mean it football, the Giant players are going to need to see a shrink and a hot tub on monday.:gaintsuck :eaglesuck

The Giants offense has been helped by their +9 turnover rating giving them a short field to work with frequently and they have ususally taken advantage of it, as they still lead the league in scoring per game. Conversely, the turnovers have also marginally hurt their statistics as they have the ball for shorter drives, gain less yards and have shorter time of possession. Manning leads the league in passes over 25 yds and Burress is on pace for 100 + catches this year. Much of the "limitations" on the giant offense has been Manning still learning on the job. He has infrequently looked to dump off to the running back or short pass because Burress has been so open, or Shockey or Toomer. Because he hasn't thrown many passes short doesn't mean they are not open short, last week against Denver Barber caught 6. So Manning is still learing to use all his weapons. This is a very good offense and this should be very good game.

My favorite stat is the defensive rankings.

Giants defense is ranked 31st, just a hair's breadth above the Niners, and below the Houston Texans. When you think about that, how on earth can we lose???

A: Turnovers.

Amen to that...we cant turn the ball over offensively and defensively we cant give up any big plays

We will clearly out gain the Giants yardage wise. The key is a mistake/turnover free ball game. If we turn the ball over, the Giants will be quick to make us pay for it. Here's hoping we play Redskin ball for 60 min--if that happens, it's going to be a long day for the Giants. Hail.

not all true 14 turnovers came in 3 games ( 4 in a loss to Dallas). in the other 3 games the Giants avg just 19 ppg, and their other stats are below avg as well.
