stram22
I think this has been the biggest difference in our team compared to last year. Our quarterbacks had no time to throw the ball last year. A consistent pass rush will render even the best quarterbacks obsolete. This year Brunell has had all day to throw and the results are obvious. Brunell, Moss, Portis, and others have gotten a lot of credit for the success of our offense, but I haven't heard much mentioned about the big guys up front. The addition of Rabach and the return of Jansen have been, in my opinion, the biggest factors in our improved success from a year ago and I think our OL and Joe Bugel deserve some credit for how well they've played. You know, theyve given up some sacks, but when Brunell has needed time they have given his some time AND more. He seems like hes back there all day sometimes. Reminds me of the Hogs. PCS
No arguments here. There's been improvement across the board but there certainly has been a noticable improvement in the line. And they still are.
