Our problem (until last week of course) was simply putting points on the board. Stupid, small things killed us in our two losses (think of the 54 yarder that was good, nullified by a false start). If the mistakes don't happen, we cruise.

Also, I'll take our O-line over theirs, to contribute to the list.

Nah, I'd say it's more like

Brunell = Eli

Barber = Portis

Moss > Plax (slim margin here)

Cooley < Shockey (wider margin than the Moss/Plax)

That's all pretty incidental, and doesn't really take all that much into account, but the most important thing is:

Skins D (4th in NFL) >>>>> Giants D (31st in NFL)

To say the Giant's are not good is ridiculous. They beat Denver in the waning moments when we could not. Yea I know it was raining and on their turf when we lost but we turned the ball over. The Giants do not do that. In fact they have one of the lowest turnover ratio's in the league this year.

What scares me about our D is that they have given up at least one long run per game for a TD..even during the San Fran game. I am telling you it is a big problem waiting to happen in New York.

The Giants have very nice skill position players and a QB who has moments still mixed with youthful mistakes. This is another tough test for us in that we continue to face some pretty good offenses now with five you can deem well above average in personnel and/or production.

Still, I watched the last few Giants games with Short Cuts and Manning is not consistent. He can be rattled. The Giants have played one substantially good defense and were largely handled by Dallas. Our offense has churned out positive improvement while playing generally sound defensive units. All the advantages favor us from a matchup standpoint, but, we are a team prone to beating ourselves while Coughlin is a coach who has fielded teams with historically LOW turnover numbers.

If we play cleanly, the Giants don't have a chance. If we help them out, they do.
