Griff
I always read opposing fan's message boards, I enjoy seeing what thoughts they have on our team and the upcoming game. Every MB has it's morons, including our own. I truly think this game will be a very close one, coming down to the team making the least amount of mistakes walking away with the win. I also don't make it a point to call other fans out and create a pissing contest but this made me fall out of my chair with laughter. This was posted by bluewave: I see no reason not to blow them out. They do not rush the passer which is what rattles Eli. Their offense is based on the run setting everything up, Portis is the most overrated rb in the NFC if not the NFL. I don't worry about him. Just stop the running game, and let Santana get his garbage yards. But we don't let anything beat us deep. They do dink and dunk, and that may hurt us. But I think we can force them into turnovers at home like we did last year. Especially if we gun for Portis. He will fumble. He is a weak small running back who is a poor mans Tiki Barber and relies way too much on his Oline. http://boards.giants.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69748&st=

tundey
I can only hope this line of thought is held by the Giants defensive coaches. Probably not but at least I can hope

red zone
A poor man's Tiki Barber? I'd say Tiki Barber is a poor man's Tiki Barber. That dude's nuts... Dink and dunk? Garbage yards?

ntotoro
If Santana Moss has five receiving TD's (two out of 1st place, but tied with a bunch of guys) and is the league's leading WR in terms of yardage, then I guess that's a whole bunch of garbage yards...
36HAMMER
there is always one who should be seen and not heard. that little drivell isn't worth a response which is why the ny fan showed it to us. even he sees it for the bird cage fodder that it is.like i've said before, crack usage must be more rampant than i first thought. ppistol
here's what another one posted...although he was quickly silenced by other giants fans It's time to get fired up, G-Men!! We've got that pitiful Redskin offense coming to town and our O (offense) is waiting, salivating, and waiting for that OVERRATED Skins defense! Here's a quick synopsis of the Redskins roster: QB - Mark Brunell - old, tired, worn out...and lucky. The guy is older than dirt at his age because dirt's really old. STRAHAN is salivating. RB - Clinton Portis - more overrated talent. The guy hasn't done squat against good teams this season. What's he going to do against our Big Blue G-Men D? Zippo, Clinto! WR - Santana Moss - little, short, and semi-fast. This is the only guy we worry about, but we're not the Cowboys...we don't let teams come back in 3 seconds. Get ready to feel the pain of Will ALLEN, Santana! TE - NOBODY. I don't even know the guys name...that's how bad they are. Garbage...udder, simple garbage. Our G-Men offensive attack will shoot down the Redskins offense like it's non-existant. It's terribly OVERRATED. Eli will have a field day. That's a quick look. IT'S REDSKIN WEEK!!! Let's hear it for the G-MEN!!!
number twenty-eight
"relies too much on his Oline".... This is kinda like saying Eli is crap since the center has to give him the ball EVERY play. What a weird criticism.

Griff
Here is another one: Some things we can all agree on: 1. The Giants are coming off their biggest win of the year 2. The Redskins haven't beat anyone in 3 weeks (Lost to K.C, Lost to Denver. Beating SF does not count as a win) 2. A. Denvers running game is far superior to Washingtons B. The Giants controlled that running game enough to win 3. Brunell is the Kurt Warner of the Redskins. Yes he will win some games for you, but he will cost you the playoffs in the long run. 4. Please take an hour and watch NFL Networks game of the week. Denver's D line applied heavy pressure to Eli on almost every snap. It simply doesn't matter. 5. Lavar Arrington will lay somebody out on Sunday. 6. Moss will catch at least 1 40+ yard pass on Sunday. 7. Washington's secondary while playing good, does not match up well with our receiving core. 8. Washington will win 7 games this year, this weekend will NOT be one of them. http://boards.giants.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69826

The bottom line here is the NFC East has 4 good teams all capable of beating each other on any given Sunday.
TD_washingtonredskins
Let them have their opinions...keep in mind, some things posted on this board have been proven to be similarly assinine in the past. Just because they think/hope something will happen, doesn't make it true or false for that matter. They are just Giant fans looking at this game the way we do for the Skins.
