cuchip703
IF he continues to make the types of plays he made yesterday...why exactly would we wan't to trade him?
Oldfan
Just a quick question: those of you who felt (feel?) that Lavar Arrington wouldn't generate much interest on the free agent market and would only yield a 3rd round pick or so in a trade, do you still feel so today? A quick question in return: Did anyone who challenged your estimate of Arrington's value offer the stupid opinion that his worth wouldn't change if he got back on the field and performed well? Arsenic
Leave it to Lenny to make light of a Redskins victory, and attribute its success to another team.

DCBnG21
I wasn't against Laver riding the pine while he got healthy and into the system...but why the )#($*@)#(*$@)#($* #Q)$(*#$, no THE )@#(*$)@#($*)@#($*@)#(*$ would we trade Lavar?
Leonard Washington
the guy we should think about trading is brunell or moss! those guys are playing great!
HailYeah
Its very simple. If he plays and plays well, his value goes up. If he sits on the bench, it goes down. Yesterday was a good day. If he plays well, we dont trade him
Dead Money
I think will qualify as a Lavar Thread.. :ciao:
hail2thegibb
He's not being traded. For 3 reasons. 1- He makes to much money. No other team wants to take on that contract and the Skins would be stupid to take the hit. 2- It showed yesterday that are defense is better with him on the feild or at least more intense. I think the coaches saw that too. 3- He wants to be here. The light finally went on. He now knows what he has to do for everyone to be happy. After 5 straight losing seasons I think he wants to win here, as a Redskin. That's what you want from a player on this team.

KingGibbs
Repeat after me: If Lavar stays, it's a $7m cap hit. If he's released, it's a $5m cap hit. If he's traded, it's a $12m cap hit. If Lavar stays, it's a $7m cap hit. If he's released, it's a $5m cap hit. If he's traded, it's a $12m cap hit.

Samuels
Does anyone know what the caphit is if we turn his roster bonus into a signing bonus spread out over the lenght of his contract? It should be way less correct?? I would think it would be well under the 5million number or is my math way wrong.
wskin44
And if we keep him can't we turn his huge roster bonus into a signing bonus and lower his cap hit dramatically by spreading it over the lenght of his contract?? Not sure but I believe that the $7mil already takes this into account.
