Conrad87
just said that santana moss is the number 1 receiver in nfl right now....the way he's playing...
Vegas-Born
He is...bottom line. S. Moss is flat out lighting the league on fire.
Portis the Tortoise
On the Dan Patrick show, Irvin named TO, Randy, Chad, Marvin, Holt and Santana as the only true #1 WRs in the league. His definition of a #1 WR was a receiver who the opposing team spent night after night gameplanning against. How about that for some respect? Watch out for #26! DWil
Of course Dan Patrick didn't want to believe Santana Moss is a #1 wide out despite his stats after 6 games and Brunell BLATANTLY making him his top go to guy.
skinsterp
just said that santana moss is the number 1 receiver in nfl right now....the way he's playing... I think he means that Santana is a number one receiver as opposed to Keyshawn being a number two. He's saying that Moss is as big a threat as T.O. and Chad Johnson because we all know that Brunell is looking to go to him and we complete the play anyway. Fifty Gut
he didn't say Moss was the #1 WR in the NFL, just that he is a #1 WR opposing defenses must game plan for Moss now

Burger35
He said Santana was one of the few #1 recievers in the NFL. Good compliment, but when he made his list he forgot Steve Smith a definate #1 reciever in the league.
Loyal2Washington
WR maybe the one spot where #'s tell the entire story. Right now Santana deserves all the props he's getting, because he is outplaying every CB that is trying to check him. Is he the best now, that's debatable, but his numbers dictate that he be placed in the upper tier of NFL WR's. :gaintsuck :eaglesuck :dallasuck
Saqs
I thought Moss was fast, but seeing him on the field at a real game is just crazy. The dude looks like a blur running and it looks almost effortless.
Larry Brown #43
I was at the game and I still don't understand how he got so open on his TD. What happened? It looked like the DB just gave up. That was just weird.
Doctor ToughLove
So Michael Irvin is jumping on the Santana Moss bandwagon. Who is surprised? Does anyone really have a choice anymore, with Santana Moss on pace to break the all-time single season recieving yards record? Hey even a broken clock is right twice a day. That was just weird. On the replay you can see the corner point backwards, indicating he was either expecting saftey help, or just trying to pretend like he was expecting saftey help. Burger35
The DB looked like he was playing cover 2, however the safety never helped over the top.
