ljer
...next week is where it's at. Against a DIVISION team. Those are the games we really need, and will show what kind of team we have. We can't go into NY and have a klunker. Hopefully heads don't grow too large this week and we keep our focus. :gaintsuck

illone
I agree. We need to keep things focused for next week. Thankfully we have Joe Gibbs at the helm and we've now seen what this team can do at home when we play a flawless game. Now we just need to put it together on the road. No turnovers next week. drone007
i gaurantee you that the team is not hot headed... this win has to be extremely helpful to them because the secondary was full strength, we had over 200 rushing yards, including 4 rushing touchdowns, 2 turnovers and multiple sacks... so many positives in this game, regardless of who we played, I do not see how this game could possibly be negative in any way. and also, gibbs would never allow the players to be ****y. Bang
Coach Gibbs is the master of focus. Don't sweat them not being prepared. Sweat the Giants, for sure, but don't worry about focus. ~Bang

What the **** do we got to keep things in focus for???

FWIW, as a fan it was also great to watch bledsoe return to form at the end of the sea/dal game. those sick looks that jerry and the tuna were wearing reminded me of week 2. kingfish50
I honestly don't think that they'll be light in the head going into NY. If there was any game to be less pumped up for, it was this game. It would have been real easy to over look this game and look ahead to the giants game. If you remember, during Gibbs first tenure here, they usually lost the one they should have won. That's probably why Gibbs got upset at the media this past week. He's seen it happen too many times. They have a tough 3 games ahead that could determine the outcome of the NFC east and I honestly think that Gibbs has this team diciplined enough to know that it's one game at a time and I say we win big at NY next sunday. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS! .:gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck

Jumbo
Coach Gibbs is the master of focus. Don't sweat them not being prepared. Sweat the Giants, for sure, but don't worry about focus.~Bang Right now I respect the giants more than anyone else in our division. I don't think it's a total accident that SF was the place to see how our D personnel <I'm in discrete mode> would fare with a little more "unleashing" against Smith right before taking on Eli. That said, there's little to compare in offensive capability between the gants & SF. We will be forced to respect the gnats far more than we were today. Still, I predict we will see some serious agression even with the risk involved.
