D_Alx
Guys, this is the NFC EAST.This division has so far this year, been the suprise division in the NFL, it is perhaps the toughest division in the league. Our division, sits now with the: Eagles 4-2 Redskins 4-2 and the Giants playing as I type 3-2 and the Cowboys playing as I type 3-2 If the Cowboys win and the Giants win, everybody is 4-2. How can this not dawn on you all how important this game is on Sunday? It truly is a must win. Dallas is already 4 and 2, they haven't had a bye yet so they would remain in first with a win at 5 & 2. ThatGuy
One thing I've noticed, is Buress seems to have developed some kinda soccer player disease where he dives sometimes to draw penalties. But he's playing well. Manning throws his way a lot.
OldTownFan
Your definately right there, Dallas is already 4-2 They are leading the Seahawks 7-3 right now The Giants are losing 20-10 to the Broncos right now too if that held up, then Dallas 5-2 Philadelphia 4-2 Washington 4-2 New York 3-3 That would pit us against a hungry and desperate NY team this Sunday.... All the reason to step on the throats when the division rivals are down.

Danny Montana
I've been saying all season that the G-men were vastly overrated. Yet another classic example of the NY media hype machine at work. They beat up on teams with either very suspect pass defenses or just altogether bad teams. They benefited from being given an extra home game at the expense of the Saints (for which Tags and the NFL should be ashamed of themselves). They play a team last week that actually gave them a tough game and they can't get it done. Their secondary is suspect as hell. And today they are getting smacked around by a Denver team which plays just average on the road. No reason to fear the Giants. Just bring it. :gaintsuck
Jumbo
<cue Three Dog Night song with vocal overdub and video of close-ups Washington, Arrington, Marshall, and Springs running straight into camera> "eli's running, run-you better hide, eli's running, run-you better hide, Eli--you better hide the ball girlllll--you better better hide that ball"
Gregpeck99
The giants will be hard to beat. Manning is the best QB the Skins have faced ... and Barber and Shockey always seem to have career games agiant the Skins. Add Burress, Toomer, Strachan going agianst "thumbs" Jansen; the excellent return game of the Jints (Morton, Ponder); and the hostile confines of the Meadowlands ... and the outlook becomes bleak. The Skins D must keep the Gmen under 20 points and play an otherwise perfect game just like tehy did in 1991.
OldTownFan
By the way, the Giants just came back and won, 24-23 thanks to Eli Manning. The Redskins have Manning and McNabb to deal with for the next half decade at least, Great. We need to develop a long term quarterback of our own when Brunell leaves in a year or two or three. The Giants are a divisonal game, they are now 5-2, with a win over Denver, who just beat us, so we can't talk to much smack. This is a step up game, we need to step up, the Redskins need to make a statement and win on Sunday no doubt.

Larry
However, before we spend too much time mooning over Eli, I need to point out: The NYGs have the #31-ranked defense in the NFL (yardage). We just hung 52 on #32. (With the second string.)

Bottom line: Sunday can't get here soon enough. Just bring it. :helmet: :gaintsuck
