I also wanted to see if any one here has been able to get a hold of those pictures from that interview two days ago. Portis was wearing a white wig and some funky glasses to "see the field better" in hopes of getting in the endzone. I can't seem to find it anywhere and even posted on our MB looking for it. Anyway.. if someone can get me a link to it that would be great. If you all just want to talk smack.. go ahead. Let me start off by saying... I like the U and enjoy their backs therefore I like Portis. I think Gore is a much better back but... nonetheless.... I like Portis..a little..but just a little.. So that said... ummm go NINERs..I hope our Defense whoops up on Brunell just as much as yours is probably going to sack our SMITH. oh yeah.. .. one more thing :dallasuck <-- I hate the cowgirls!!! p.S. Its possible, I guess, but very unlikely. I mean, its is second game, and you saw how bad he was against the Colts. The Colts defense has what we lack, however, and that is a pure pass-rushing DE in Freeney. But I have confidence that Williams will be able to get pressure on Smith with linebackers, and hopefully Lavar (if the rumors are true) will have a big game and maximize his opportunities. Especially because we've got our two starting corners back, Springs and Harris. I really don't see any of your wide-receivers being able to do anything. Smith's biggest hope was Eric Johnson... Man.. you got that right. I like Lloyd.. I think he can stretech the field. The question is will Alex see him this time. Yes... I do miss Eric... again!! They say "when it rains it poors" .. therefore it is hailing. :laugh: But I am glad that Coach Nolan went with the rookie. A lot of NINER fans are pissed off with the move talking about " Alex isn't ready" and " there goes our chances" BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLAAAAAAAAAAAAA We had no chance for a playoff run this year with Rattay and all the injuries we have. I hope he does good in Tampa (better draft pick) but I think he lacks the skills of beeing a TRUE Qb i.e. FaVRA, Young, Montana, P. Manning, Marino etc. He doesn't posses the "this is my team attitude/drive" that I want to see. Granted, he doesn't have a lot of healthy talent around him but even then.. he doesn't look like he could handle it. :doh: I also want to start GORE. As I stated earlier ... he is our going forward chance. He is explosive like most U backs. Next year.. I want to lay down, not like we have a choice right now, and pick up Reggie Bush (USC) Anyway... i expect a lot of Portis with Brunnels calf strain.
