skinsngibbs4life
Shawn Springs and Walt Harris are both expected to play this weekend against KC. In my opinion, if just one of them played the full game against denver last week, we would have won. But, against a(in my opinion) stronger kansas city offense, this is going to be big for us if both of them are healty.
Kosher Ham
That is wonderful news. That last thing I want is to see Ade play a game from start to finish. Even against the questionable KC WRs.
Mooka
Huge for us. Springs can cover Kennison 1 on 1 all day, opens up the defensive playbook a little bit. Keep Walt, Rogers and Jimoh rotating on the little speedy guys. (Sammie Parker and Dante Hall) Great thing about our secondary is that their very physical. Rattle up Parker or Hall and their not catching anything over the middle. Now just need to find a way to Cover Gonzo. Not as worried against the run, thats what our team does well, we're not gonna miss tackles like that every week.
skinsngibbs4life
Now just need to find a way to Cover Gonzo. QUOTE] I think that sean taylor would be able to do that just fine if he is given the chance. But even so, gonzalez only has like 120 yards recieving in 4 games. Definatly not as productive as usual

Although I do think Rogers and Jimoh played their asses off on sunday this will give G Will the confidence to send the dogs against the Chefs. Tarpon75
Just hope Springs can play a complete game. That kind of injury is easily aggravated.
SittingBull
Yeah, after the Chiefs last loss they stressed that they would make an effort to get Gonzo more involved in the offense and with the bye week I'd expect them to fulfill that promise. Larry
From what I've read (haven't read much about KC, yet, this week. All of the news sources seem to be focusing on LaVar instead of our next opponent. Fortunately, I don't think our coaches or players are doing the same.) KC seems to be a team that spreads the ball around a lot (just like we're becoming). Which, to me, means we don't so much need one superstar cover guy as we need a lot of pretty good cover guys. Anything that adds to the DB depth chart makes me happy, and adding to the top of the chart is even batter.
SkinsGuy
Are you sure Springs is definitely playing? I thought he was listed as day-to-day? It would be great if he is.
The Gibber
But even so, gonzalez only has like 120 yards recieving in 4 games. Definatly not as productive as usual Gonzo has been staying in to block since Willie Roaf has been out to help protect Green. I think that Roaf is good to go this game so they will be sending Gonzo out a lot more often and try to utilize him more.
REEGSKINS
our biggest concern is their running game. if we can slow that down and keep the ball away from dante hall on st's we will be in this game till the end.
