Okay, good to know about Jansen. He has done very well in my opinion this season. This Springs thing really scares me. Why would they be doing an MRI on a bruised shin unless they thought there was some sort of ligament damage (I didn't even know that there was ligaments in the shin. And how nice would it have been for Fox to actually tell us what the injury to Springs was? God I hate Fox (except for Family Guy). Please God, let Hall return to us very, very soon. I think Novak would still be good to keep for kickoffs, but for field Goals and EP's I would feel much better with Hall (with him there is NO way even one of those kicks gets blocked), and we would also be 4-0 right now if we had him.

It would be great to get both Harris and Springs back. Jansen getting one of the casts off only improves his usefulness in pass blocking. I'm sure playing like that has improved his technique, he had to be perfect because he couldn't fall back on holding and getting away with it like other linemen.

No, their aren't any ligaments in a shin. But shin injuries can be very painful because the bone is exposed to easily. I'm more afraid they thought it could've been something more serious, like a bone fracture. But it's negative, so it might just be a bone bruise. Which can be just as painful and leave the shin weakened. He might be better off sitting this next game out.
