Dan T.
Two guys caught more than 80 snakeheads in Dogue Creek, which feeds into the Potomac. They were catching them in clumps, didn't even need bait. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/10/10/AR2005101001602.html

Have you noticed that they are starting to eat each other?
NavyDave
So true Wskin44, but I thought that dems would ve went back home instead of infesting the potomac and practicing political cannibalism

@DCGoldPants
The democrats are more like ****roaches. When it gets dark they will come out again. just like those old WB cartoons where the Elves come out at night and clean up the mess made during the day. Fixing the shoes and the shop. then going away before anybody realizes who got it right.

GoSkins561
Could be a fun place to throw some m-80's into the water. ---------- Post added June-29th-2012 at 05:41 PM ---------- Why, yes, you can eat them.http://www.popularmechanics.com/outdoors/recreation/fishing/5-invasive-species-you-should-be-eating#slide-2 My brother in law was at an event that served the snake head ceviche, he said it was good. It was some foodie/wine snob event that Andrew Zimern was attending.

It's actually interesting to look back at the panic induced by this fish. Turns out they didn't grow in size and number to the point where they ate everything in the potomac and, forced by their ravenous appetite, crawl onto land consuming pets, infants, and democracy. Mr. Sinister
Funny how when they started showing up, people made it seems like they were some kind of biblical plague, capable of mutating into bipedal beings, and eating litle kids at playgrounds. Destino
Damn , I just realized that I posted the same **** like right after him It's the first thing that pops into my head every time I hear or read "snakehead". The local news was in a full panic about it. I remember the teasers like "do snakeheads present a danger to your family outside of the water?!" With all this talk of eating them I feel the need to go catch one, even they may contain poisonous levels of Potomac juice. ---------- Post added June-29th-2012 at 05:52 PM ---------- Can these ***holes bite you? Can they survive in the bay? I don't think they can survive in the bay. As for biting you... they only do that after they've lured your far from shore and anyone that could possibly save you. They were in the same exhibit as the Black Caiman (I think) and they wouldn't go near fullsize Snakeheads.
