supafly
Taking a look at the latest statistics, The skins have a top 10 ranked offense and a top 5 ranked defense. There are lots of other teams that have higher offenses/defenses but very few have both combined. The closest equivalently ranked team I can make out are the Cowboys. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statistics?stat=team&sort=ypg&pos=off&league=nfl&year=2005&season=2 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statistics?stat=team&sort=ypg&pos=def&league=nfl&year=2005&season=
Warhead36
Our offense isn't scoring but getting yards is nice. At least it's vast improvement from last year. We're on the right track. We're getting there. No team wants to play us.
Mister Happy
You can't tell because we've only played 4 games and most teams have played 5, but we have a top 10 QB, RB and WR in yards per game. The great thing is that this offense is only going to get better.
Mr. Nostril
We would be well rounded if we scored more points Our defense is #5 in points allowed/game but Our offense is tied for $26 in points scored/game
dfbovey
Colts are the best overall team in football right now, which is scary considering their offense is underachieving at the moment.
Mr. Nostril
I don't see why people are so intent on saying the colts offense is underacheiving. They had 2 consecutive off weeks on weeks 2 & 3. However, they scored 28 points yesterday, they scored 31 the week, and they scored 24 the first week. So, I think we should get over the fact that they've scored in ways besides Peyton Manning td passes. I also think it's worth looking at who the Colts have played. The Ravens, who have turned out to be mince meat The Browns, who are improved from last year, but still bad The Tennessee "at least they beat the Texans" Titans The 49ers The only team with a winning record that they played was the Jaguars. Although their defense still deserves props, it doesn't matter who they've played, they've given up an average of less than a td/game.
bubba9497
once we start scoring more maybe
DarrellGreenFan
Hopefully, the lack of scoring is just variance and that over the long run they will start to come. The yards per game we are getting shows our offense has the ability to get the job done.
PleaseBlitz
More scoring on O and more turnovers on D. Right now, gotta go with the Colts. Nice to be having this discussion though......
