TheGreek1973
went a lot more to Patten yesterday? I think getting Patten involved will go a long ways to improve the passing offense to the point where we are a very big threat. Cooley also caught a lot of balls and we still need to get jacobs involved in there. Against KC Patten and Moss should be open a lot more. Their passing defense pain sucks. I think Gibbs will come out passing and keep passing the entire game with Portis having huge runs in between.
halter91
Sounds good to me, We need to open it up. Make the play action pass more of a weapon.
Spaceman Spiff
I noticed the past two week we've spread the ball around a lot more in general. I hope Patten starts producing more. It can only help. :logo:
TD_washingtonredskins
Sounds good to me, We need to open it up. Make the play action pass more of a weapon. I think we opened it up just fine yesterday. Denver really never had a good answer for our passing game and they are a pretty good defense. We were MUCH more effective passing the ball than running it.
jnhay
Brunell worked the field really well. He was really good at feeling the pressure, and running to the right spots. I agree with the announcers of the game though, that Brunell kinda struggled when throwing to the right. Speaking of play action, did anyone else notice the terrible PA play where Brunell fake tossed to the area opposite of where Portis was? I was really surprised the commentators of the game didn't catch it.

barefoot
If we keep this passing game going, they're going to get away from having 8-9 in the box. our run game could be huge in KC
Zguy28
It was nice to see Patten & Cooley get into the schemes. If the ball hadn't been a sloppy mess, Brunnell probably would have been 45 of 53.
75004
Brunell looked like a pro out there yesterday. He was making the right decisions and finding the open receivers.

Mooka
Santanna will continue to draw extra attention opening up more plays for Patten and Cooley. Its a process and imagine what this is going to do for Portis and the running game.
