Well after a pure arse whipping, I've come to the realization that these ain't the same Birds of years past. Then again, I felt the same way after the Steelers game last year.

I won't vent.....hell, I ain't even complaining. With the Eagles playing like crap yesterday, I had more time to spend with my children instead of just before and after the game.....so lay it on me....

I said I'd be here at 8:30 am and its 8:49 am.....

Hit me with it!

P.S....congrats to the Cowboy fans on the site! You guys played one hell of a game yesterday. The Birds didn't match your intensity from the jump. It felt like yesterday was your Super Bowl.......good game, but remember, you guys still have to come here! :)

Very classy...

Props to you and Westbrook for taking it like men. I was just as shocked as you guys, lol.

I think I was speaking for all Dallas fans when, at the half, I was wondering who that team was on the field and what did Bill Parcells do to the real 2005 Cowboys?

Looks like the East is for real this year.

Agreed, they didn't look like any team I've ever seen before in my life. Brian Dawkins said it best this morning on WIP radio when he basically said, " I hate to admit it, but the Cowboys wanted this game more than we did." Michael Lewis said after the game that, "The guys just got too big heads. We need to realize that we ain't as good as we think. We are good, but not great."

What a week to come in Eagles-ville. Forget a bye week, this week plans to be GET REAL AND REGROUP WEEK! If I didn't know better, everyone will be staying in the city think of how they let everyone down. This team might be not be overrated, but the sure didn't play like the defending NFC Champions. They were truely embrassed yesterday like they never have been before. As Dawkins said, "I on behalf of the defense, and team apologize to the fans of the team.......I never thought we could lose to Dallas, especially the way that we did......we won't lose like that again. We won't!"

Congrats to the Boys fans.... they took it to the Birds and took it to 'em good.

I won't make any comparisons between this years and last years Eagles just yet... we're 3-2 w/ 11 to play. It's a LONG season.

It seemed to me that the Eagles simply got too ****ey... thought they could mail this one in.... the arse whooping they got should be a good wake up call... we'll see in two weeks.

Anyway, the division is a big 'ol log jam and the season keeps rolling along.

Congrats again, enjoy the week.

Classy eagles fans on this site are taking it much better than my friend (eagles fan) who stopped watching the game with me @ halftime went up stairs and literally broke his room door he was so pissed.

I guess it okay with us because we went through something like this last year against the Steelers. Besides, its good to be competetive rather than blow everyone out. That way you can see what kind of heart your team has. The season has finally gotten interesting for me.......

Another Eagle fan hear standing up and taking the beating. The Birds got whooped yesterday, Boys played great.

Even give props to TR..he called it.

I agree 5...it's been fun running away from the division the last few years. And although I still think we win it, it will no doubt be a challenge this year which hopefully makes us a better team going into the playoffs.

So anyway, take your shots....we got whooped!!

Props for showing up and taking your lumps.

But it was just another divisional game. Our Super Bowl? Hardly.

It was a satisfying win for sure. But it doesnt come close to even a playoff game for Dallas fans.

Not to be arrogant or ****y, but when youve been to the Super Bowl on numerous occassions, and won those games, this was nothing.

Another interesting quote, this one from Michael Lewis....

Got it off the EMB, an article by Ruben Frank

"QUOTE OF THE DAY: "They may be thinking they've got a shot, but I guarantee you they don't," safety Michael Lewis on what the rest of the NFC is thinking after seeing yesterday's score."

But for anyone who thinks this is the beginning of the end for the eagles, I think they are dead wrong.

You don't think there is the slightest chance that Philly is slipping? After bearly getting by the winless at the time Raiders *AT HOME* coming back in KC. Or surrendering 30+ points in back-to-back games? There is a chance you could be wrong here too. With injuries, enternal bickering (about contracts), etc. There is a good chance that "YOU" may be wrong!

Got Darn Right! My biggest problem is that you are seeing Dawkins play his heart out! You are seeing Trotter play his heart out, hell even Hollis and the Rookie, but what about everyone else?

Dhani....stop selling f'ing bow ties and smack somebody at the LOS not 7 yards down field!

Keith....I know the Sim didn't play most of the 3rd Qt for you......Sim took your spot dude?

Jevon.....if you wasn't spending so much time looking cute for the NFL Network people maybe you'll remember why you are here! Oh almost forgot, next time you autograph a glove and give it to a fan, make sure you touch a QB with it first, or else its just a sweaty glove!

TruckDriver.......get outta the rest stop and get'er done!

I didn't watch the game just saw the 2 Bledsoe TD passes.

What happened?

Did the Eagles play alot of man coverage and got beat by Glenn?

How's Mcnabb, nobody has talked about his condition.....

Was the Dallas D playing well or was Westbrook and TO not getting open?

Last question, is TO going to be a ASS towards his team this week on his radio show?

Was too busy hoping the Skins could pull another upset......

I kept flipping back and forth yesterday...didn't get to see much of the Eagle-Cowboy game...but everything I did see just looked like the Eagles getting pounded all over the place. The only good play I saw for the Eagles was the defensive TD (maybe that was the only good play???). I was very surprised by the outcome.

Anyway, despite what Michael Lewis said, this division just got a LOT tougher...and tighter.

....and I just can't help but think maybe McNabb should have had the surgery a couple of weeks ago? Maybe Detmer gets them past the 49ers...they have a bye week...then McNabb returns just past the midway point??? Like I said, I didn't see much of the game...but it seemed like every time I saw McNabb he was in pain and I just can't imagine how much longer he can go on without doing further damage...and for the Eagles it would be even worse if that happens towards the end of the season.

Well go.....it kinda went like this.....neither the Eagles DLINE or OLINE did its job. The Eagles played like they did back in 2000 in the divisional playoff game against the Giants except Jason Sehorn wasn't on the field.

If the Eagles would have attempted to run the ball, it would have been closer. They need this week off to decide if they are going to be men or mice!

McNabb had a bad day. No one was saying a thing about getting the surgery (maybe a few) after he put 3 straight big games. Now he has a bad one and it's 'he should have had surgery'...He was off yesterday, along with everyone else on the team. Reid didn't even mention him during todays PC on the injury report.

Basically Dallas just took over the game on both sides of the ball. And yes, the Sheldon Brown TD was about the only thing worth cheering all day. I guess the 4th down from the one when Dawkins and Marshall stopped JJ was big at the time...but that's about it.

Just a straight up butt whoopin!! It was so bad our 3rd string QB injured his knee....and he didn't even play!!! lol...tough day.

Lewis was getting his ass handed to him vs. Oakland.

Lewis needs to be quoted as wanting to work harder, not speaking in definites as nobody has a shot.

The East is improving......The Emperor has no clothes..........the gap has been closed.

This is the biggest reason the Eagles had their ass whipped, they are getting a case of swollen heads.

The worst thing about the game for me yesterday was the fact that nothing else was on. My kids had me watching Dragon Ball Z DVD's. Not that they is anything wrong with DBZ, my youngest son's nickname is Trunkz, but come on, after watching the Eagles who would really wanna watch a bunch of Super Saiyans whop aliens? Especially when the aliens (Cowboys) whopped the Super Saiyans (Eagles) in real life.

Wow our Redskins board brings out classy Philly cheese steak fans? I hate the eagles and I despise the cowgirls, I hope both of them have horrible seasons.

Ass whoppings humbles even the worst of them, hopefully the losing streak continues for the eagles and I hope Dallas hits a rut.

Number5-

It's awfully weird when I log on at my Redskins website to see Eag and Boy fans kissing eachother's a$$es. :)

Unfortunately for you Philly fans, the NFC East does seem to be tightening up. It's about time. I still say that a 10-6 team will win the division this season. Maybe (MAYBE) even 9-7. My Redskins still have to prove that they can get in the endzone alot more, but this division can no longer have clear favorites or underdogs in the matchups and that IS a good thing. I certainly am NOT making the call that the Eagles are "done." Many fans of the other NFC East teams may want to declare that, but it's ridiculous to say. It's going to be a dogfight and because of our redzone woes, my Skins seem to have to most still to prove.

The New York Football Giants are actually the scariest team in the division right now so we should all buckle down and concentrate on snuffing those guys. :) (Sorry, Tom. Just a shot to the ribs.) :)
