Fifteen percent of $14,240.15 is ...

The Titans have a tradition that the top draft pick handles the dinner tab for his entire unit. Already an expensive proposition, one can imagine the damage when the top draft pick is Adam "Pacman" Jones, the arrogant cornerback who alienated teammates during his preseason holdout.

Well, the final bill for most of Tennessee's defense to eat at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar in Nashville on Sept. 8 was $14,240.15.

"I thought it was going to be like $3,000," Jones said. "I was like 'Wow.' I think they kind of knew though, because everybody was like smirking when the dude brought the tab out."

It was the highest tab ever paid by a Titans rookie, as teammates purposely gouged him during the meal. Linebacker Keith Bulluck, who exchanged verbal shots with Jones through the media during his holdout, ordered a $325 bottle of Perrier Jouet Brut Rose. It's in his locker, unopened.

Some players gave Jones credit for picking up the tab. Others who are still on shaky terms with Jones said he did nothing but what was expected of him.

Bulluck was asked if he had to pay that much when he was the 30th overall pick in 2000.

"I didn't have to," Bulluck said. "I didn't run my mouth."

Hahahah, serves the **** right.
