jrockster21
Okay, after 3 weeks of NFL football, what has been the biggest surprise? For me, its been seeing Drew Bledsoe playing like the Bledsoe of old; I guess Parcells has a knack for rekindling the old magic. Too bad spurrier couldn't bring back the Danny Awful magic!! TD_washingtonredskins
I would have to agree with that. Also, I think the Bucs are a great surprise too.
The extremist
OTHER: 1. cinncinasty 3-0, and crushing teams so far 2. Oakland 0-3 (i knew norv would take a good roster and ruin it, but i didn't think it would be this bad) 3. Green Bay 0-3, and losing the first two home games (remember a few years ago when Green Bay was the team that NO ONE wanted to play on the road?) 4. To a lesser extent, Arizona 0-3 (i know it's no big shocker, but the players and so-called football analysts kept harping about how this was the year they finally turn it around like cinci---whatever happened to all those first-rounders they keep drafting year after year?) Darth Tater
The one thing that would suprise me in the NFL is if there were no suprises.
Bangee7
Miami has knocked quite a few from the survivor pools!
Lil Kenzo
I was not expecting the Bucs to be successful with a rookie running back in the backfield.

I left Cincy off because I expected them to be good this year. It was only a matter of time before Carson turned it around, and Chad Johnson just looks stronger and stronger every year! He is a serious beast. Oakland, well, you have to take into account the Norv factor. Green Bay - They've been on the decline for awhile now; and while it may be a little surprising that they are 0-2 at home, its only mildly so. Arizona? I just assume they are going to be crappy until they prove otherwise...that's just me, I guess...
jrockster21
Come on, only one vote for Bledsoe? After we railed on him on this board? I know I'm not the only one here who predicted the senior citizen would do poorly in Dallas...

PCS
I didn't expect Drew to have a bad year, and though only a few games into it, I'm not surprised he's doing well. That said, I'm not convinced he's going to be great down there either. As for surprises, the O-3 Bengals and Miami.
SkinsNeverDie
Besides the skins fans who knew that the D was still gonna be dominating...a lot of people would have picked that choice.
Die Hard
I thought Bledsoe would fair pretty well in Dallas. That's no surprise to me. You give him protection... and he can pick you apart. I think Cincy qualifies in my book. I would've picked them if it was available. Tampa Bay looking very strong... that's a bit of a surprise. Not because of the influence of a rookie running back though... that happens every year. But with Griese and the passing options they have... not to mention the defense isn't what it used to be... and yet still is The Dolphins 2-1 is a big surprise as well. Probably the biggest. Then again, as we've seen in the past, if you're going to get surprise victories.... they usually happen early in the season. I don't expect Miami to contend for very long. SouthernCali Skins
(1)The colts defense has won 3 games in a row... they have allowed 5.something points per game. (2)their offense had not shown its dominance... (3) P. Manning has not being a good fantasy pickup... manning has thrwon an INT every game, i think (4) cadillac wiliams is breaking records... can u say? rookie rushing record, maybe

terpfan
The Colts defense carrying them to a 3-0 start is pretty surprising to me. The Bengals not just winning but blowing people out is also a pretty big surprise. I thought they would be good but not THAT good.
bricucci
I would say the Dolphins, people had this team winning 4 games. (Sound familiar?, I think its one AFC team extreme fans can probably relate to. A BIG but very pleasant suprise is our I95 neighbors at 0 and 2. I don't think anyone saw that coming. woolley83
I was very surprised by the success of both the dolphins and the bucs. It is no surprise that TO and donovan are hookin up again cuz the 2 are so talented. I think we need to look for our offense to be a surprise if we want any look at the playoffs

PIT BULL
I though for sure the "D" would take a big loss by losing those two key staters, not to mention Champ Bailey the year before that~ :helmet:
Manasseh
I can't believe it took so long to mention the Colts. Who would have thought that at this point in the season they would be winning games because of their defense and not their offense?
