CHUBAKAH
So far the nickel defense is shutting down the Iggles. Are the Raiders on to something here? Go Raiders! BTW Coy Detmer is warming up. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawk.
Khun Kao
Reids playcalling blows today. McNabb is obviously not himself, possibly due to injury, but he keeps calling passes. He needs to run the ball to setup the pass to protect McNabb and allow him to get into a rhythm.
CHUBAKAH
Credit the Raiders I say. They are playing a very good game on D!
tr1
Classic Norvis...fear of winning. First ten plays look good, then what? And shall I say something about penalties... The Eagles should win this one walking away.
ThatGuy
I don't understand why the Eagles didn't suit up the other kicker today. They had Todd France in there all week, Akers wasn' expected to go. You'd think teams would learn that if you have a gimpy kicker, sit him. It just cost them that extra point, and they basically can't kick field goals for the rest of the game.
Spaceman Spiff
I got money that says someone crushes mcnabb in the coming weeks and he has to miss significant playing time.
SKINS@THEGOALLINE
Eagles passing percentage on 1st down is the highest in the league. Shut down this and you shut down the Eagles.

NoCalMike
Remember the criticism for Spurrier about being pass happy? *cough* Eagles*cough* As long as you protect against that one big run that Westbrook has every game, then it is pretty safe to not even blitz McNabb and just play the pass on every down. If Mcnabb is healthy its not that easy though. He could have 100yds rushing if teams did this when he is healthy
thelarkascend1ng
McNabb isn't stepping into a lot of his passes, and doesn't seem to be able to scramble and buy time... reminds me of someone last year COUGH BRUNELL COUGH. i hope the raiders win it. SkinsLover
Sorry, but Im sitting up hear in Eagle Country and lovin it...I hope they go 1-2 so I can stop hearing about the "class of the NFC". Side note, if you havent seen it, there is an article posted that Donovan is pretty hurt. Besides the bruised sternum from the opener, they said its possible he has what they call a "sports hernia". Ive never heard of this, but it is a hernia in the abdominal region that requires surgery. They said the MRI is inconclusive, but if that is what he has he will be in pain the whole season and it will be a long season from him. And Warren Sapp already landed flat on him once, not sure how many other times hes been knocked down or sacked, I'm kinda in and out watching the game. Should be an interesting second half though. SKINtil8tin
Yeah, Donovan definitely looks like he's hurting. This guy won't last the season if they keep him in there the next few games. As horrible as it sounds, that cheap shot that he just took won't be the last. I know most teams will never admit it but I'm sure many would risk a penalty if there's a possibility of taking a playmaker out. I would never wish harm or ill-will on any player but I wouldn't lose any sleep if McNabb was on the sideline.

s0crates
Let's not forget that is Norv Turner on the sideline, he'll find a way to lose it.
SKINtil8tin
If McNabb goes down That was awesome! Almost fell off my chair seeing that!
SkinsGuy
The Eagles have a 3-point lead halfway through the 3rd quarter. No way Norval comes back from that insumountable lead like that (imsurmountable for him, anyway). He never did in D.C., anyway .
tr1
It's a shame the Eagles can't pay Westbrook...he's just not worth it...sheesh.
Jphat007
It's incredible how good the Eagles are. They have a QB that can't walk and they still score at will and just dominate. URGH. SO jealous. Oh yah, plus they have no kicker. Just incredible.
Danny Montana
Nobody really thought the Raiders could pull this out, right? I mean, this is Norv we're talking about here.
PCS
Norv's in a new town and still suffers the field goal kicking jinx. He has some bad karma going still for that.
tr1
...and penalties follow his teams...over 300 yards in 3 games! Penalties reflect a poorly coached team.
