well like i said i didn't watch all of the fourth quarter and had work in the morning so had to go to sleep..i know, but i love my job and it pays good can't chance it. I keep hearing this stuff about our QB's playing so bad and people wanting everyone of our QB's benched etc.. so i thought we might have ourself a qb now!

I'll say this....I'm sleepy today - but much less grumpy.....

I thought the decision to put Mark/Scott Brunell in was wrong. Guess my career as head coach is over.

That said - I'll say our offense looked pretty friggin' sad for 93% of the game. For 7% of the game - I though Brunell was outstanding.

I hope that as Brunell gets more reps - he settles in and can hit Patten and Ramsey's boy Cooley.

I'll even go so far as to say this highlight reel may no longer apply:

Nice game Mark/Scott. I was thrilled to see you showed up. It could not have come at a better time. I'm not convinced you are the answer - but w/ that arm, scrambling and beautiful 2 passes to Santana - I am convinced that you are not really the anti-christ.

I said Brunell looked more like Michael Vick on his 20 yard scramble with a missed tackle... man 2 plays later on 4th & 15 I knew he was Payton Manning. Then he looked like McNabb to TO on the 70 yard bomb to Moss... Brunell still has it he just has to let it loose. GO DOWNFIELD Gibbs bomb it more like that in the first half!

Big play Brunell looked like the old QB from 10 years earlier scrambling against Denver in the divisional playoffs with the Jaguars. Everyone says he looks old, but he looks better scrambling at age 35 then Elway did scrambling against the packers in the superbowl. We dont need a QB like Vic scrambling 100yds a game. Just someone who can improvise when the pocket collapses and get a first down every now-and-then. Great job Mark...

Now all he needs to do is STOP LOOKING AT THE RECEIVER THE ENTIRE TIME BEFORE HE THROWS THEM THE BALL! Look off the defense so we can get more receivers open! Other then that........

Hail to Scott Brunell....... "the gun slinger from the south" !! :notworthy

The scramble for yards, the deep passes, and the intelligence to boot. Why then are their still threads about Patrick Ramsey? Get over it Burnell is here to stay.

"The back-up QB is always the town favorite" - Burnell (during the preseason)

You are so right.. people should give up the argument and find a day job. Ramsey is a great backup for us right now. To even fathom the thought of starting him over Brunell is utterly ridiculous.

It was neither Scott nor Mark Brunell. It was Mark Rypien...I noticed about half way through the 4th quarter Brunell went runnning into the locker roon holding his ass cheeks together...my guess is that he had the runs....the strange thing was...he came out about 15 seconds later...I dont think they want anyone to know about Rypiens comeback...but hes still got it baby!!! He came in there and saved Brunell from being replaced by Ramsey again...if Brunell plays like crap against the Seahawks then I told you so.
