fwo40
Is it me or did our new center look like he was getting handed his lunch out there, yesterday? Our interior o-line play was overall kinda weak, but I can distinctly remember Rabach getting blown nearly all the way straight back into Brunell about a half dozen times. On one of the shoutgun plays he got abused so badly I thought for sure he'd sack Brunell! Is this a concern for anyone else?
TD_washingtonredskins
It seemed that way. Although he played well vs. Chicago so we should probably just see how he does moving forward.
RDSKNfaithfull
La Roi owns the skins One bad night I'm not worried at all Casey looked solid in all other games excuses We were in Dallas in a hostile enviorment, Laroi is a monster against the skins(he seems to be one of the few that gets it over there) Brian Mitchell also said Gibbs uses the same snap count the whole game when in a hostile enviorment????? The O line will have a bounce back game against Seattle. Dockery was getting beat as well. Kudos to Samuels though he kept the next LT:rolleyes: silent
Zen-like Todd
I swear to god on that one play where Rabach got pushed back five yards it was because Laroi jumped the count and hit him right before he snapped the ball. Of course it wasn't called, shock of shocks.
More Complete
Brian Mitchell also said Gibbs uses the same snap count the whole game when in a hostile enviorment????? I heard BM say that too. Doesn't really give me a warm fuzzy :(
manichispanic
Rabach was shaken up for a series or two
FranklinNoble
Who was beating him? It could have just been a bad matchup...
RDSKNfaithfull
Who was beating him? It could have just been a bad matchup... Who wasn't beating him should be the question but Laroi was the one really taking it to him.
Fred Jones
We have to wait and see after a few more games. I think last night's game was a combination of a loud stadium, poor play and a good (mayber very good) puke Dline. The question I have is the Oline going to pull it together and continue to improve or fall apart. I think they will continue to improve, but how much is the question. I have to give credit to the Tuna and his draft choices. All three Dline players drafted this year can play.
skinsfan93
Dockery was getting beat as well. I am worried about Dockery. He got beat and beat often by a rookie!
matty dread
Dallas has a very physical and very DEEP DL. They're going to give a lot of offensive lines fits all year.
Chachie
Both our offensive and defensive lines were atrocious last night and both of the Cowboy lines were stellar.
The Sisko
Yeah, we really should have taken a chance on Chris Canty. We need someone on the DL that can pressure the passer besides Griffin.
gstahl
the few plays were Brunell REALLY needed time to throw he got it, he could step and throw the TDs. I too saw the pounding at center, but maybe manic hit on it that Casey was shaken up a bit. Hell, it was 100 freak'n degrees I am amazed we had few problems on the O line with the heat (dallas shuffles lots of defensive personnel in and out). Looks like the one suffering from the heat was R. Williams, just could not quite get there when he needed to. :-)
TheSmokingMan
It was definatelynot Rabach's best game. He was blown off the line a number of times. We did a poor job of picking up blitzes also.
iceman330
You're right, he got eaten up!
DE SKINS FAN
yea i noticed his play too. on some portis runs he missed at least two blocks that could have opened it up. it looked like he was a bit lost when he was out in the open. also a little weak on the pass protection. i'm not too worried about it yet. CEJ2200
Both our offensive and defensive lines were atrocious last night and both of the Cowboy lines were stellar. I was under the impression our O-line was one of our strengths, but they didn't look like it last night. We're lucky Mark was around in the 4th to provide the game winning passes. REEM10
Dockery was a little shakey yesterday. He was definitely the weakest link on he O-Line last night. Hopefully he gets it together.
TLusby
Who was beating him? It could have just been a bad matchup... Ferguson kicked butt last night. The OL looked very bad or maybe the Cowboy's DL is very, very, strong. I believe their DL is tough, period!
bigswanny
Lets not punish the guy for one game against a really good Dline. I also agree with gstahl that the fact that dallas shuffles fresh guys in doesn't help his situation. I think Rabach will do just fine for us. Beaudry
They took us apart in obvious passing situations. This was especially bad in shotgun, as Glover was timing the snap every play. Vs. the run their DL wasn't dominant, but they were good. They were really loading the LB's and Williams up to the line.
Leonard Washington
i never thought rabach was THAT good. people speak of him like he's a kevin mawae or something. he's definately better than raymer, moore, and friedman, but i would describe him as average. he gets the job done, but he's going to have ups and downs. JoeKnowsBest
Samuels was stinking it up as well. The numerous penalties also didn't help.
