Skins Are 5-2 In Their Last Seven Games...

..and the two losses were by a combined total of six points.

A Ramsey INT in the end zone at the end of the Eagles game, and a defensive breakdown in the last 30 seconds of the Dallas game, is all that separates the Skins from being 7-0 in their last seven games. Six points and two botched plays, one on offense and one on defense, is all that has kept the Skins from being undefeated over their last seven.

Think about that for a moment.

As well as...this is the first time the Skins have won two consecutive games since 2003. Joe Gibbs now had two weeks to game plan for Seattle...at home...in front of 90,000 extremely optimistic, happy and LOUD fans. A 3-0 start doesn't seem too out of the question right now...which would translate into 6-2 over their last eight...or six points/two plays away from 8-0 over their last eight.

Just food for thought...

Slow it down there, big guy. Let's not rush ahead too much. Enjoy the Cowboys game for a minute - it was a long time in the making.

What's to slow down??...All I said was that with two weeks to game plan for Seattle, at home in front of a noisy, pumped-up crowd, that starting off 3-0 isn't out of the question. Didn't say it was a given...only that it wasn't out of the question.

Why should that be deserving of caution?

I'll like to make a suggestion here. All the PR lovers please if he ever does get traded, please feel free to go support whatever team he is traded to.

I am a Patrick Ramsey fan. Ilove his competiveness, toughness and profesionalism since being demoted. I will pull for PR to do well on any team. Coach Gibbs made his decision based on what he beleives will be the best for the team and I fully support that decision (as if my support means anything). I will continue to be a Ramsey fan (when and if he gets traded) but my team will be the Redskins.

Excellent points.

Joe Gibbs knows what he's doing. We are on our way back to the promised land, folks...

Should I book my flight to Detroit yet? The Skins still have major offensive woes. Two plays do not make up for the first 3 quarters. But any optimsm is good at this point. it has been a long long time. Not just since a Dallas win, but since we've seen any life from this franchise.
