KingGibbs
I don't know about you guys, but this guy has made me say Smoot? Who's Smoot? He is head and shoulders above Smoot in regards to being a physical corner. He along with Marcus had an incredible game. Carlos will be hard pressed to see the starting lineup if Harris continues to play at this level. :point2sky
ZkinsFan
smoot who?
skinstzar
0-2 Fred Smoot, thats who. He's probably crying in his wheaties.
MLiverpool
Harris made a few very good plays. He is not just a cover corner, but he can tackle too. As Rogers gets better, the Skins might have one of the best three corners in the NFL... I like how its all coming together.
REEM10
Harris is definitely been key for us. But I still dont think he is better than Fred. Im not trying to take anything from Walt Harris. His problem over his career has been consistency. If he can overcome that stereotype, then its all good.
Epistopheles
All I see is consistency from him. He's solid. I was a huge fan of Walt Harris last night.

RDSKNfaithfull
You mean Fred "I dont like Tackling cause it hurts" Smoot??? Smoot layed it on the line for us. I remember after the Chicago game last year the love fest with smoot. Lets not go overboard people this system makes players look better and I am fine with that but lets see it for what it is. FranklinNoble
Hey, I'm a Smoot fan... I'd love it if he were still here... and I hope he does well in MN... But I think our defense is doing just fine without him right now.
HailYeah
Our D rocks. But we really need to put it in the endzone. It will happen soon. BTW did anybody see that almost fumble that ST almost took back to the house but they said the ground caused it?
rictus58
You mean Fred "I dont like Tackling cause it hurts" Smoot??? Lets not equate Smoot with Deion Sanders. Smoot was a good enough tackler. He was also tough enough to not be a ***** when it came to injuries.
triple6mafia
Walt Harris has been extremely impressive. I was upset at first when i saw that he was starting the first game of the year, but since then he's been nothing but very good. He made some key tackles and covered very well. Gamebreaker
Don't go bashing Smoot, and saying stuff that isn't true. I hate when skins fans act like punks and tell lies about former players. Smoot doesn't tackle? He's 170, and he throws his body around like no one else on the field. You same people were loving him when he was making tackles with a bruised sternum. Have some dignity and just let the man be. Walt Harris has played great so far this season, beyond my expectations, but he's not better than Smoot. Get over it.
lucky*13
I liked smoot alot when he was here, but he could not tackle and gave up big plays. One thing i know,is walt Harris will tackle you,and with rogers coming around this will be a great secondary. :dallasuck
bigpoppa
So as of now what happened to all the expert talk about how less effective our D will be without smoot or peirce. Any problems so far? I mean I know it is only two games ,but I think this is just a showing of how the system of gregg makes players and that we were better off not paying them the big bucks. I mean I loved them but hey good luck to them and lets keep it going in this direction.
Boss_Hogg
Smoot did tackle, but these skins fans are bitter about his departure. Two days after he snubbed our team and went to Minnesota he was quoted in the Minneaplois newspaper saying, "It so nice to finally play for a team that actually cares about winning and has more pride." In March I was in Minnesota on business and all of those Viqueen fans at the bar were going gaga about Smoot. One dude even proclaimed a Super Bowl appearence. mrhogg
You mean Fred "I dont like Tackling cause it hurts" Smoot??? smoot was my favorite player. But he turned his back on us to wear purple.therefore, I HATE HIM. he is way better than harris though. walt sucks we need to put in rogers
REEM10
All I see is consistency from him. He's solid. I was a huge fan of Walt Harris last night. That was the mark on him in Chicago. He was consistent. Thats why they let him go. That is what I am talking about. He has to prove different over the entire season before we can really say he has knocked that monkey off of his shoulder. I have respect for what he has done so far for us. But it is only Week
