RabidFan
Looking at the great replays wonderfully posted by others...did anyone notice that both of Brunell's TDs were really thrown with some zip? The 70yard TD throw left his hands on our 23yrd line and was caught by Moss on the Dallas 23yrd line or so....50yrds in the air.....50yd yards....sorry i was channeling Clark Griswald for a moment... Those were Pennington high floaters, Mark put some mustard on those throws and stepped into them. Just love it and wondered if anyone else noticed his velocity. FranklinNoble
Yeah, I really had doubts about Brunell's ability to throw downfield anymore. I think, like Wilbon said, the rust finally fell off. This game will be a great confidence booster for Brunell, Gibbs, and the rest of the offense. And the defense now knows that their outstanding efforts will not go to waste.
RabidFan
We just need to toss those bombs in every quarter to give Portis some lanes....although I did see Dallas in Deep Cover 2 much of the game to take that away but Moss blew thru it at clutch time. He's got healthy hamstrings.
RVAbrendan
He has a clutch cannon for an arm. I mean, 22 yrd. line to the 22 yrd. line in stride...doesn't get much better than that
ntotoro
Mark Brunell has never been known for his all-out arm strength. That was why the hamstring injury last year hamstrung him so badly, no pun intended. He needs the leverage to get the oomph on his passes, but he showed great touch on the two passes to Moss. He looks to have his strength back.
xsinner
There were rumors that they amputated Ramsey's arms and then attached them to Brunell.
