GreatRiggo44
I'm not sure how other people reacted, but when that ball left Brunell's hand I had my finger on the power of the remote. What I expected was an interception, an overthrown pass, a desperate heave into oblivion. When that ball threaded between the hands of Williams and stuck into Santana's hands--- it was destiny--- it was like God reached down with divine intervention. I was shocked, elated, dumfounded all at once. This has to be one of the greatest plays in Redskin history. Thank you Redskins for another great memory--- thanks for being the greatest team in professional sports. Hail to the Redskins :notworthy
MLiverpool
I was feeling the same way. I saw it go up and thought the Cowboys would have had more coverage, but Santana made an amazing catch. He basically lost sight of the ball as Roy came between him and the ball and still caught it. Talk about concentration. I'd just made a comment to my friend how all I really wanted was some points, not a shut out, not to the Cowboys.. Instead, destiny smiled on the Skins tonight. Gotta admit, as much as I'd love a 45-0 blowout, somehow having all the Cowboys fans remain, after thinking their beloved Cowboys had won another one on the Skins, on Monday night.. But balance has been restored.. the Skins have a new streak, its 1-0 against the Cowboys.. its 1-0 against Parcells have he had a lead going into the fourth quarter.. I will enjoy this victory for a long time to come
deiulay
:logo:I had no reaction to that play. I sat and stared at the screen looking for the flag. Just couldn't believe it. That kind of stuff just does not happen the the post millenium Redskins. Maybe the bounces just start going our way for a change: The passes being caught in stride, the holding on adams on the 3rd down play in the 4th, the clock going out at the end of the 2nd quarter. SlinginSammy HOF '63
It was just meant to be. No other explanation...other than a good throw and catch.

panel
I was suprised Moss didn't drop it, Roy williams got a good swing at moss's arm as he was tring to securit, releived that he made the catch.
CaliforniaSkin
I was in a bit of shock. That ball was thrown PERFECTLY. It could not have been thrown any different and still been a catch and TD. To be honest, I didn't know Mark had that throw in him, and I supported him starting. Ax
As a homer, I expect that kind of play every time. It's what I picture in my mind. No matter that it usually doesn't happen, for any team. It's possible, and that's all you need to know. It takes guts to be a homer. For all those who were still suffering from Norvitus, enjoy this shot of Gibbsicillin. Stuff works huh!! :dallasuck
Spaceman Spiff
I was in shock, too. We never get big plays like that. I can't remember the last time I've seen anything like that from us.
Potato Sack
Spaceman, I think Brunell and Moss went into the locker room, logged on to extremeskins just to look at your sig for motivation. IT WORKED! Thank you Spaceman for helping us win :lol

riggins44
Not even Hollywood could have written a script like last night! Dallas was controlling the line of scrimmage and Brunell didn't have time. Then all hell broke loose. Go Gibbs! What a great victory! This is one to savor! Xameil
so much for Brunell and his inability to throw the long ball. let's not forget his supposed inability to run...he's actually second in rushing yards for the team...how long has it been since that happened? :gaintsuck
LegionOfDoom
That was truly a script destined to go down in Redskins history... if you watched it consider yourself fortunate. Now watch the bandwagoneers come out of the woodwork. The perfect way to detect is when you see a friend with a Shuler jersey that is in Mint condition. MidPennSkin
Good players come thru when the game is on the line. That's what Brunell did last night. I guess Gardner (or maybe it was Coles) was right last year when he said there was nothing wrong with Mark's arm. I had my doubts, but that throw convinced me. The 2 throws to Moss went 50 yards in the air. Old noodle arm needs a new nickname.
ECU-ALUM
When Moss caught the ball first thought was, "where is the flag?" and then once I saw the PAT get kicked I thought, "We got a chance."

I know it is only two throws and it's only the 2nd game of the year but just like Lavar's play against the Panthers a couple years back...I think Brunell's scramble on 3rd & 25 could have the same affect on this team. skinsfan080
I had no real reaction either. I was just like, here we go again. They HAVE to make things interesting so that I wanna kill myslef even more. But when he scored that next touchdown, then I sh*t my pants.
