And upon further thought about this whiole thing. Seems to me that the only reason this game isnt on ESPN at 7:30 is because of Monday Night Countdown. Pathetic. Just have it earlier or on ESPN2. I believe the Saints/Giants game will be starting first, then switching over to espn when the Skins are on. So, everyone will be able to watch the entire skins game. drumsalot Posted September 19, 2005 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Ermmm....The Redskin vs. Dallas matchup is scheduled for Monday night football on the same channel as every Monday night football game. Channel 7. The Giants and Saints will be on ESPN so you can choose which game you want to watch. I could be wrong because I have not researched the issue but I think the Jets played at home on Sunday and that is why there are two games tonight because the Giants could not host their away game against The Saints in the Giant Stadium while the Jets were scheduled to play at home. When the doubleheader initially was announced, it was said that the Giants-Saints game will begin on ABC at 7:30 and then switch over to ESPN at 9:00, except in New Orleans and New York, where the game would remain on ABC. This prompted several e-mails to us from Redskins and Cowboys fans in New York, who thought they'd miss out on seeing the first half of the "real" Monday night game.
