hail2skins
We had just come off a win against the Bucs very similar to the one last week over the Bears (Portis' home run TD may have been the only real difference) and were confidently going up to the Meadowlands to face a Giants team which had been shellacked by Philly the week prior. Our confidence only grew as Brunell led us down the field the first series with a healthy dose of WR screens (plays we would come to hate as the season wore on) culminating in a short TD pass to Chris Cooley. Ah, Gibbs was back, and visions of trips to Jacksonville danced in our heads. Then we committed a turnover in our territory, and Kurt Warner hits a bomb for a TD and a tie score. This was the start of a rather rough game which included seven turnovers (including three horrid interceptions by young Mr. Ramsey), and in hindsight, the wheels came off our season then. Lets hope we don't meet a similar fate tomorrow........I highly doubt lightning can strike twice.
jrockster21
Oh man, you had to bring that up. Ugggh. The absolute WORST thing about that game was that we turned the ball over 7 times and STILL had a chance to win the game. It was a ominous harbinger for both teams, actually...
