bulldog
I was looking at the tribute to White at Lambeau at halftime and when they flashed the highlights of his playing career up on the screen, the one thought that went through my mind afterward was why did the Redskins keep Bruce Smith around for TWO years just so he could crawl over the finish line to break Reggie White's sack record? Anyone who saw both players in their primes KNOWS that Reggie White was twice the defensive player that Smith was. He played the run and rushed the passer better than any DE in history. SkinsLover
I met him once when I was on a flight to Milwaukee. Had to be like five years ago. He was on my coach flight, walked to baggage claim with him and his associate. Introduced myself (like he cared who i was hahaha) and told him what a great career and player he was. That I was glad he went to GB to get his ring instead of hanging out in Philly. Made me sad as we walked, he seemed like every step he took was incredibly painful. Reminded me of why NFL players get paid so much, we as fans seem to forget how much they put their bodies through, and then aches and pain the rest of their life after football....
