HOG
I'm new to this forum and I am excited about finally being able to connect with fellow Skins fans! I was wondering if this question has been dealt with recently. Who is your all-time favorite Redskin? We could give our top 5 reasons, etc.. I won't bother you with my own pick until I've heard whether or not this question has already been looked at recently. Looking forward to a winning season and a playoff spot! No_Pressure
Umm can "Hogs" count as 1 Redskin because I love what those guys did for us more than anything in the history of this team.
Warhead36
#28 Darrell Green. Forever Mr. Redskin.
Jimbo
I love Green and Monk but Sonny Jurgensen was the guy I always emulated when I was young. I HAD to play QB and be Sonny. It was that simple. To this day, 9 is still my favorite number.
Burger35
ART MONK by far. Is my favorite of all time. CP is comin in at a close second though.

Hollywood2k3
It's gotta be D. Green, Mr. Redskin!
DButz65
My name says it all .. i played DT in High School and in a Semi Pro league, my # was 65 ... so Dave Butz is my favorite of all time. Of course Darrell Green, Joe Jacoby and a handful of others rank right up there with Butz.
Doctorfro
When I was growing up Larry Brown was my hero. But ya gotta love D. Green.

JoeKnowsBest
Joe Gibbs. Out of the players, probably Darrell Green 1st, and Gary Clark, Jeff Bostic, and Charles Mann as close runners up. Oh yea, and I definately got to show some love to the last reliable kicker we ever had that took us to the playoffs. Chip Lohmiller. (#8) Not to mention in a (Off the wall, past the bench, off the water cooler, through the goal posts) McDonalds commercial with Pete Stoyanavich. I was at the game when he made an interception and decided to stay another year!!!!!!!!Go Skins!!!!!!!!! :dallasuck :gaintsuck :eaglesuck Me too! I was at that game when he got hurt and I told every one around me "shhhh" and every one got quiet and that's the moment he said he decided to stay 1 more year. Ya gotta love him! Other Redskins I feel I should mention played before my time as a Football fan (I was only a todler at best) but I know from TV and being involved in the Redskins and NFl that I like a lot are Joe Theisman and Sonny Jergunson. Although for Sonny, I wasn't even born within 2 decades of him playing!
SCredskinsfan70
Well, it certainly wouldn't be Deion Sanders...<<shudder>>. My favorite all time Redskins would have to be Coach Gibbs. Man gave me a LOT of happy memories of watching games on Sunday with my dad. Playerwise I'd say Darrell Green and Art Monk. Not flashy trash talkers just guys with loads of class who went out and excelled as players but also just great guys with tons of class. Have you ever seen anyone have anything negative to say about Green? Have you ever seen an interview or portrait or anything in the media where DG came off the wrong way? I think those two guys reflect a lot of Gibbs himself and what we all long for this organization was and what we want it to be.

scruffylookin
Gary Clark by a wide margin. The guy had a fire inside of him that very few players (especially wide receivers) seem to have. He played his guts out every Sunday. When you add the fact that he was about the same size as Darrell Green but wasn't blessed with Green's speed and still got open and made big plays against the top NFL db's, Gary was an amazing receiver. The following are players that, if you asked me over the last 20-25 years, I would have perhaps at one time or another told you they were my favorites. Joe Lavender Mark Murphy Joe Theismann Dexter Manley Charlie Brown GARY CLARK Wilbur Marshall Ken Harvey Henry Ellard Tre Johnson Deion Sanders......kidding....just kidding LaVar Arrington
