Here's why Gibbs benched Ramsey: Gibbs offense is simply too conservative to allow the type of turnovers Ramsey is making. This may seem obvious, but I think in another system Ramsey could thrive (or at least start). Old dogs don't learn new tricks and Gibbs is not loosening up on offense and making huge adjustments at this point. This does concern me because most of the successful teams in the NFL today (at least in the regular season) have dynamic, high scoring offenses. It's great to see a team like the Pats shutdown a scoring machine like the Colts, but the Pats are still able to hang 30 points on an opponent. Here's to hoping that things will be better, but the offense is going to have to step up the scoring big time compared to where it is at now for the Skins to have a successful season.
