richard saunders
There was a lot of media specalation on whether that Campbell would play this year. I guess there's a better chance now that we've already had one QB change. My vote is not this year, but just wanted to get an idea of how you guys feel. Warhead36
I said before the season and I"ll say it again, I do think he'll play this year. Hopefully it's this Monday after we take a 42-0 lead on the Cowboys heading into the 4th quarter.
ArmchairRedskin
Campbell will be inactive for Monday's game. I think :paranoid:

dawgjk9
I hope he does get some time in - with all the QB issues The Redskins have getting their "3rd" man some experiance might be a good idea i hope he DOESNT get any time in this year, that would mean that the redskins are winning. the ideal situation would be to win 9-10 games, sneak in on a wild card, maybe go to the second round like in '99, but do it solely on the D and the running game wiht brunell being a trent dilfer so that campbell can maybe get some time next year and by '07 be a solid contributor. ive siad it before and will say it again, campbells going to be the guy who leads the redskins deep into january and i really feel that with his mobility, arm strength, poise, he is going t obe a good QB for the redskins for a while.:dallasuck

AJ_Skins
Campbell may see playing time under one of two circumstances: both Ramsey and Brunell are seriously injured and can't play, or we're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs and both Ramsey and Brunell have played extremely poorly. Redsk58417
If Campbell gets in before the '06 season. That signals 2 things atleast! 1. A baaaaad season in '05, and 2 injury or the 2 other QB's on roster continue to "stink it up." I cannot see any other way he starts before '06. mikeb71
By game 4 he will be a starter and a big surprise at QB! Will lead the skins to a 9-7 record, possibly the wild card. Next year possibly back to the NFC Championship! Put the man in, he can play!!!
stevenaa
Cambell will only see the field if this season is a complete loss. Is that really what you want?
ummagumma
Cambell will only see the field if this season is a complete loss. Is that really what you want? Too much invested in him to waste this season not playing him. I'd rather get the learning curve begun then wasting a season going 8-8 (at best) with Brunell. RDSKNfaithfull
I hope to god we don't see him this year for two reasons 1.He is not very good right now 2.If he is in it means the team is not doing very good at all:puke:

The extremist
I think we'll see him this year (he HAS to get some playing time to get comfortable)...Unlike some here, I am not expecting this team to go very far; we could easily be 5-6 by week 13...Assuming Brunell does not get injured, i think that chargers-rams-cardinals block of average to below average defenses would be ideal to start the rookie

Art Monk Fan
Brunell got nine starts last year before Gibbs saw the light, so week 10 would be the point where he'd make a move again. If Brunell looks like last year again, we see somebody new in week 10. Ramsey or Campbell? With Gibbs' mistrust of Pat, I'll put my money on the rookie. Now, let's all go to our local house of worship and pray that last year was an aboration and Brunell still has it. GO! NOW! PRAY!
