REEM10
After Mondays decision to bench Ramsey, I was jive upset. But after a couple of days of thinking, I dont think you can go wrong with either QB. Brunell looks really healthy now (in which I dont think he was healthy at all last year), and I have faith in Joe Gibbs that he is making the right decision. Who am I to really question a coach that has brought this town 3 Superbowls? I dont care how long ago it was. What I can really tell is that he just does not like turnovers. And if you are turnover prone, you are either sitting the bench or getting cut (like Antonio Brown). It is what it is now, and we just need to support our team. We about to play Dallas in Dallas on MONDAY NIGHT. That is my focus!!! Brunell had a very good game against them Cowdungs last year (350+ yards passing and 2 TD's). This game is REALLY REALLY BIG to us. Lets worry about spoiling that Ring of Fame induction on Monday night for the Triplets, and show a NATIONAL AUDIENCE what kind of team we really are!!! The Skins were going to play Monday night if the QB was Ramsey or Brunell. So now let us focus on what could be THE BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR for us!!! :dallasuck :helmet: :logo: :point2sky :wewantd: :wewantd:

Saqs
lol. It means he was "kind of" upset. It's DC area slang.
jrfriedm
I agree with a hundred percent. I would rather have Ramsey at the helm, but as long as the Redskins win, especially against the Cowturds then I really don't care who is the QB. dreamingwolf
jive Jazz or swing music upset To cause to turn or tip over; capsize the slang use of "jive upset" would be connected as such. New Orleans is known for Jazz, and a cannoe can capsize. So he felt like someone who had capsized his cannoe in the flooded New Orleans and got chemical burns from the polluted water. barefoot
If it wasn't Dallas week I don't think everyone would be so uptight about the situation at hand. We'll be fine the rest of the season...........I think
Canadian Hog
I have to say that it would be both ironic and fitting if the player who everybody used as last year's whipping boy (Mark Brunell), led the Skins to victory in what is perceived at this point to be their biggest game of the season. tizzod
We have what we have. This is the team we root for and the cast of characters we are left with. I guess we either keep cheering or step off. I, for one, choose to keep cheering.

I would rather have Ramsey at the helm, but as long as the Redskins win, especially against the Cowturds then I really don't care who is the QB. I agree with that philosphy, but I think it is a forgone conclusion that we will lose with Brunell starting. I think it would be a tough game no matter what, Dallas looks good. But I think we have decreased our chances of winning by starting Brunell.
Disco Dave
We don't stand a chance of winning this game. It's very sad but true. Boo-nell throws more interceptions that leads to scores for the other team than anyone else that I can think of. If he was hurt last year, why didn't he say anything to anybody? I have lost respect for Gibbs. I never thought that I would ever feel that way, but I have.

HailYeah
How do people lose faith in Gibbs in having to make a really tough decision between two half-retarded quarterbacks? Neither of these guys are really great but he chose the one that will make the least amount of mistakes. That is all.

Steve Y
I was upset at first...I'm still a bit upset. Has nothing to do with who plays. I have no more loyalty for Ramsey than Brunell. I just have a problem with how it was done. You don't lose your job due to injury, and Patrick essentially did. (Well it was the original excuse.) I remember last year riding that wave of crappy games just waiting for Noodle Arm to get the hook and it took Gibbs forever. So why was he quick on Pat? Was it the pre-season? Did Mark win the job then? Then why did Pat start week #1? I don't get it.
NavyDave
Oh please Some of you bandwagoners need to STFU. Somehow a mediocre QB with inflated numbers during the spurrier era where even Danny Woeful looked good rates moe fan loyalty than a guy that blessed us with 3 rings from 3 different QBs??? Ramsey in Gibbs eyes was the QB version of 50/50, so get over it. Actually I lost respect for you alledged online GMs
