redman
I agree with the Jammer comment, he didn't show much sunday at all. Even his fans on the SD board are very disappointed in him. But I think you under estimate the talent we have In the WR core. Your D will struggle, much like the SD D struggled. What do you commit to stopping? Do you stack 8 in the box and go man coverage? Do you blitz and go man coverage? Do you play zone and give Bledsoe 5-6 seconds to look the field over? These are not questions we have to contend with until Brunell an d you WR show they can beat the man coverage on a consistant basis. I think this gives us a very good advantage. And i think back to last year, you guys had a pretty solid d too, i think it was 3rd in the league and we put up 21pts against it with a sub par offense. I think Brunell gives you a better chance to win, but if both teams play the way they are capable of, no mistakes, etc, Cowboys win this one. We're three deep at cover corner and our FS would be one of the better cover corners in the league if he was playing at CB. Our MLB is a converted DB. Our SLB was in the Pro Bowl last year. And Griffin is a monster at DT who makes everyone around him better. I'm not worried about our options in attacking Bledsoe. One thing's for sure- given that our defense held Julius to 3 yards per carry during his otherwise stellar run at the end of last season, this is going to be a hell of a battle. Oh i agree, its going to be fun to watch. Going to be some chess matches played on the field monday night for sure. But i have to remind you, this is not the dallas team that you played last year. The threat of a decent passing game, which we didn't have last year, will open up the running lanes somewhat. I look for JJ to get about 24-27 carries for around 80-90 yds. And i look for whitten to be a big player in this game, around 5-6 catches for 65-80 yds with a td. Bledsoe will throw for 2 tds, a train gets one and i think one on D. I think you guys get a long ball td, and maybe a turnover deep, leading to a feild goal. Just my take. Final 31- 10 Dallas
Darth Tater
Maybe we get lucky and the boys score less than 10 points or somehow give us a few points. Of course, Brunell'll probably give the 'boys back any points they give us.
