@DCGoldPants
"He's moved onto bigger and better things" hahahaha! Classic! http://igglephans.com/kepler/DCForumID8/31958.html of course it gets spun cause they all know the hidden meanings.
The Evil Genius
If you want real turmoil over there though, check out that board's division on the Brock siutation. The Iggles appear to have released Brock over a refusal to pay him a signing bonus that was comparable to the other 7th rund draftees. It was an argument over $9k. Hmmmm.... Zen-like Todd
Actually, the article I read about it stated that the Iggles screwed up their cap management, and didnt have enough room in the rookie pool to ffer him market value.
Thinking Skins
oh really, I definately say we take a look at this guy then. We know that eagles management is stupid, but I was at least giving them some credit. They can turn into our biggest friends this offseason. bulldog
sign Gardener if he passes his physical and forget about Brock. he doesn't fit the profile of a player that is going to be of much help either now or in the future. he is too raw and underdeveloped to play right away and in a year's time the team can use it's #1 or #2 picks to grab a DE or DT that can come in at 290-310 and play for Bruce at end or move inside. this guys is ND Kalu, except with less speed. redman
Only the Eagles (well, the Cards and the Bengals also) could have some of the greatest cap room in the league and blow the signing of a 7th rounder. That's as embarrassing frankly as the Bears drafting the wrong player the other year. And these guys think they're destined for the Super Bowl this year!
PennState11
Appearently they can scout good ends because Derrick Burgess is suppoused to start this year
NavyDave
Can you imagine us with 9 million in cap space and Mendes running things? It will not surprise me if we pass on selecting a D or O lineman again and draft flash like another WR in the first round which would p1ss me off. Then again if we sign a free agent like a Strahan to a cap friendly contract I may refrain from my annual WTF are we selecting this guy rant
