Statch
So I am kind of torn by Gibbs' decision to bench Ramsey. I thought PR did pretty well for his opening game against a very tough defense. I think it is a hard thing to bench someone when they get hurt, and yet are still able to go the next week. I think everyone through Preseason got the feeling that Gibbs was just biding his time and waiting for a reason to make the change. I just think this is a bad way to do it. Alghouth, at the same time it doesn't make PR look at it as he lost the job by performance, but that Mark won it on his performance. Who know. I guess we'll see what Mark gives us on Monday night. If he tanks out though, what then? Does Gibbs go back to PR the next week? I definitely think that if PR was on this short of a leash, Mark had better be on the same leash. If he isn't and PR stays on the bench as Mark leads us to losses, you can pretty much count on the fact that PR won't be able to take up a leadership role with the Redskins ever again. I think, unfortunately, PR is gone at the end of this season and Jason Campbell is the second string, if not taking Brunell's spot. Its just funny to me that PR gets benched for his performance. Anybody see the teams that is picked to win the super bowl by a lot of people, the Vikings or the Jets and the performances their quarter backs had? Culpepper - 3 ints, 2 fumbles, Pennington - 1 int, 6 fumbles. Oh well all we can do is hope that Gibbs knows that he is doing and that he isn't making a mistake. Onward and hopefully upward we go. :dallasuck
Bat~man
not sure either , i do feel they both give us the same chance of winning , brunell is about out of gas and ramsey isnt premium grade gas and i just hope cambell pans out to be ok and brunell can at least get us a winning record this year
