No one gets the reference in the thread title?

I do.

Who can forget Juan Dixon dropping 35 points in a playoff game and then commenting postgame that it was a result of him being pissed off about what he read about himself on a message board.

Let's hope the same motivational tactics can work with Ramsey next week.

The classic "Amazingly Sucky" themed thread from the Wizards forum on realgm makes its way to ES. :D

Hey, it worked for Juan Dixon so maybe it will work for Ramsey. :whoknows:

ChocolateCitySkin, would you also happen to be ChocolateCityJordaniare on the realgm Wiz forum?

No I'm not. Somebody else shares my moniker?

I hope this thread works... :fingersx:

I agree with this thread. I can't stand watching him play anymore. I'm relieved when he hands the ball off. He always throws an interception. Always. I can't take it anymore.

Yeah.I'm starting to feel that It's not meant to be for Ramsey .At least as a Redskin QB.Trying my best to have some faith in him,but I think hes fundalmentaly flawedsorry to say.Damn. Thought I would feel better this morning after a rested sleep.I was wrong.I still feel the same.

Well if he shows improvement afterward like he did yesterday and in the preseason then I'm willing to spot him an early INT in every game.

And this post is rediculous. Be anti Ramsey if you want but at least attempt to articulate something of substance if you are going to waste bandwidth with your mindless spewing of filth and debris.

Man, that's not a "reference" - that's an inside joke. Now that you've explained it, I see your attempt at "reverse psychology". I think the 'Skinz have more motivation (Gibbs, multi-million dollar contracts, monsters in helmets trying to decapitate them) than the Wizards. Football players are just harder & more disciplined that b-ballers in general, IMHO. It's a case of apples & oranges - what works for one won't necessarily work for the other.

That being said, Ramsey showed great progress yesterday. The man threw for 100 yards in one friggin' quarter!!! That's what you call a vertical attack. Peyton Manning wished he had a 1st quarter like that. Had he played the whole game, this whole board would be on his jock today. Don't worry - everythings going to be ok.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw this thread.

If the TD pass to Cooley had not been nutralized by the penalty, then Ram would have a 87 rating for the little bit he played. I was impressed by the passes he made, and dissapointed by the fumbles. I expected our line to protect better than that, the bears had a good pass rush.

I don't understand. After the interception Ramsey looked great! Why is everyone bashing ramsey? He had over 100 yards passing in the little time he played, he made big plays!

And 2 fumbles... If there is a time for Ramsey to show that he is a starter and belongs in a Redskins uniform, it would be against Dallas in MNF. If Ramsey could come up with a big win here he could cement his place as the starter in my mind.
