NoCalMike
I still don't get why in the open field it seems so easy and care-free for our team, but get inside the 20, and it almost HAS to be a pass to get a TD. Not that our overall redzone offense is great right now, but I want to see the ability to PUNCH IN THE BALL from 1st and Goal whether it is from the 3yd line, or the 10yd line. Fred Jones
Red zone scoring is an area the team needs to improve. If Cooley doesn't get flagged and the ref doesn't miss the Ramsey hit, we would have scored one TD today.
LWC
I don't know, but I think we are very predictable once we get inside the RZ, especially inside the 10. I don't think Portis is the most effective in between the tackles, and I believe we tried twice and then fell one yard short on the Cooley pass. LWC
I will say, I did like the misdirection play to Royal to get us inside the 10. That was a very good play call. But we then tried to jam it in.
semiskin
I say we lineup ladell at fb and clinton at rb, in these red zone situations.
craig19406
No kidding! All the runs in the red zone are in between the tackles. Why? We need to bounce it outside more often like we do OUTSIDE the red zone.
jbooma
kind of surprised Gibbs didn't give Portis a shot on that 4th down, we need to punch it in. We should have won at least 14-
